    im really on the fence about purchasing a lt kit or a mid travel kit. all of you guys that have lt, do you ever regret it? anyone with a mid travel setup ever end up getting a lt kit few years down the road?

    so its probably just a better idea to save up the cash and get a lt? plus the truck is my dd, i dont know if that is irrelevant to some or not.

    As long as you realize that the cost of LT is never ending then it is great. Not a cheap thing to do by any means both initially and down the road as you upgrade and maintain your stuff.

    King 2.5" extended travel coilovers with compression adjusters, Camburg UCA's, King 2.5" rear shocks, TRD 1st gen CAI.
    LT is awesome but costs a lot of money. i plan on going mid travel since my truck is my DD. you'd be suprised at what a well built mid travel setup can do.

    i understand lt is a money pit, thats what worrys me. i dont honestly take my truck offf roadin too much, but every truck ive been that was lt'ed is super comfortable offroad.

    Nah if you don't use it too often just use your money to get a legit mid-travel set-up

    damn that build is nice, too bad i have a gen1 and cant use the stock lenght tc lca.

    :facepalm: i missed that you have a 1st gen.

    but still, what Shocktaco recomended is a great setup aswell

    i just wont be able to be as hard on it. and valve the shocks a litle differently.

    I built his new bumper :D

    Oh crap didn't even notice your driving a first gen. They handle great with a mid travel set-up my buddy used to launch his truck with just replacement coils lol

    *SOLD*
    OE replacement Icon resi coilovers pair with some after market UCA's (TC, camburg, Icon, Solo) w/ gusseted spindles will give you a solid front end suspension

    the rear is what you will want to spend the majority of your money. you could do replacement deaver pack w/ the solo shock hoops and use some 2.0 shocks and air bumps or go full on rear LT

    it really depends on your budget and how much you are looking to initially spend
