Just as an update to this, I made the same trip in similar conditions and the highest it got was 212 going straight up with no stops. The last trip with 242 included a stop to cool down. So this is totally worth it for anyone who tows mountain roads. The factory cooler just doesn’t cut it alone.

I was going threw the Big Horn Mountains last week, very steep grade for over 20 miles and without towing and I saw sustained trans temps in the high 230s. I think I need to get another cooler before I buy a trailer. Where did you get yours from? also how much extra fluid you need?

Today I recieved some stripes for my pro comp wheels was kinda skeptical since they were under $4 for the set of 16 stripes on ebay but we'll have to see if they hold 20220719_180342.jpg 20220719_180618.jpg

Finally fixed my LED bar switch to a proper button. Redneck engineering wasn’t cutting it lol.

Ordered a set of Akebono Pro-Act Ultra ceramics for the front brakes. Who knew NAPA did same day delivery if you ordered before 10am? Not this guy, but it's a nice surprise.

I got my Hayden 698 from Rock Auto for $67.65 shipped. To route it in series with the OEM, I needed to buy another couple of feet of hose. I think I added maybe a 1/4 quart of fluid.
