Definitely! Maybe on Friday we can hit it early and decide whether it's worth bringing the whole crew through. I've been wanting to get back to that spot, but haven't had a free weekend all summer.

Before you go feeling bad for me, I've been visiting April a lot while she's dealing with medical issues. So, it's not like I'm working. The other weekends I've been visiting family.

I just meant that I I don't have a weekend of nothing to do where I can just go exploring.

    First world problems.

Yes sir! I believe the the exact spot that @Supr4Lo pinned on the map is the picture in this post where you can see my 4runner on the bank of the side of the trail with rocks in the foreground https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ng-august-19-21.621460/page-195#post-27528227

It was a little mini rock garden there, but I think it’s totally passable with stock trucks…maybe with some spotting. A limo might need to build up rocks, but I doubt it would be necessary. I enjoyed a bunch of trails in that area.

    Agreed!

FWIW, my buddy followed me through in a basically stock Ranger.

Can't be much of a trail if a Ranger made it through.

    Looking forward to it.

Going to try and make it for the August meetup. I have a buddies wedding that i'm standing up in in Illinois on Friday. After that a ZR2 friend and I will try to make the drive up.

Hopefully i'll have my rock sliders on before then :spending:

Got an email today from Gaia GPS that they have launched a new "overlanding" layer/feature. I use Gaia for hiking and outdoor expeditions because it offers a ton of layers but it has always been a little weak for offroad. This will be interesting if it can be anywhere close to what onX offers.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
I got that as well and briefly looked at it. Didn't look like it had much in WI. Maybe I just need to play wit it some more.

I looked at it also, that layer is a bit busy with all the stuff packed in, the map legend is huge. Be nice if you could turn off things in a layer, like atv/motor cycle only trails as an example. And WI doesn't have much for public land It's all farm land or up nort it's some guy from Illinois cabin's back yard.

I did see a post from someone up north of here that any two track that wasn't bermed or gated was good to go according to our state regulations. I'd like to ask a DNR guy up there to validate though.

Yeah I would verify that statement for sure. Doesn't seem right to me, could quickly land you in some unintended trouble.

    This is for Android

    Open Layer Manager

    Screenshot_20220727-124140_Gaia GPS.jpg

Press and hold on the layer name

    Screenshot_20220727-123807_Gaia GPS.jpg

    Select View Layer Details

    Screenshot_20220727-123414_Gaia GPS.jpg

    Press View legend
(as much as he probably thinks there should be; there will not be a picture of @Thatbassguy after pressing View Legend)
