Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
He did that easily since his double cab is a 2nd generation. The 2nd gen double cabs have a lot more room behind the rear seat than the 1st gens. For your '04, you can fit two 8s back there although the amp would probably have to go under one of your front seats. Or you could go with a single 8" or 10" and put the amp back there. I have a single 10" behind the rear seat and an amp under each front seat (one four channel amp for the four door speakers and a two channel amp bridged for the sub).

Check out this post. There are only two off the shelf options for behind our seats. One hosts two 8s and the other one sub up to 10".

Ive just tried this weekend wth a 15 inch kicker sub, If you put it in the bed you cant hear it when youre sitting in the truck.. even with a camper on it..

Thats wierd. I have (2) 10's in the back of my truck with camper and it sounds pretty good. I posted a thread in the 1st gen forum and got hated on for doing it, but its a good thing I really dont care what other people think (especially on forums). It was a box I had lying around and an amp that was already installed by the previous owner, so it didnt cost me a dime to do. If you arent getting much sound, maybe try facing the sub to the rear of the truck. Mine are down firing and like I said, its loud and clear.

Heres the link to my thread.

Maybe you can hear it but so can everyone else in town. And you probably can't feel much of it compared to to 10's behind your back seat. But like you said, it was free...
