Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
So much crown land here opened for mining and logging and such. I have done about 500 offroad trips in 35 years, and have yet to see any spot shut down or closed. There are no “designated” spots you can 4 wheel, since pretty much the whole province is wide open with the exception of certain boundaries within provincial parklands.

The number of spots you can go is mind blowing. Drive into any mountain area, take the first non paved road you see and away you go. Me, I go for fishing, not for the purpose of driving off road but most spots I go require 4 wheel to get in. In my last 100 trips, I have seen maybe a total of 10 other trucks. So most trips I see no one but then I source out spots like that for the solitude. However, I do a lot of exploring on some crazy trails trying to find remote access to lakes that I can fish alone.

We are very fortunate here and don’t take it for granted. It is a special thing in a beautiful province.

The wildfires do result in some offroad closures. For the reason that some areas are so sensitive after a fire and they want to give the wildlife a chance to recover. So you can run into that in a fire zone.

Those Hawaiin trucks are something. Definitley not my style, but they have a beauty about them.

If I got the green taco, then this is very reminiscent of the 80s. I dig small wheel. as they are more functional than big wheel and skinny tires.

I don’t understand the 9” of lift just to have stretched 33s, but good lawd I can get behind it much better than I can 7” in the front and drop shackles in the rear

Guam (and Saipan) > Hawaii. Seeing those poor Tacos being abused confirms it lol. I've seen a couple of those Hawaiian styled pickup monstrosities in Guam as well, but not 2nd or 3rd gen Tacos mainly the older pre Tacoma Toyota trucks from the late 80s to early 90s.

I would legit me mortified to be seen on one of those monstrosities, but people can do what they want with their vehicles.

My only concern is how safe those stretched tires are.

It’s a pretty simple concept, not everyone has the same taste. My truck is probably acceptable to tacomaworld standards, but I probably think the clothes you wear look silly as shit.

It’s really not a sign of intelligence to make fun of what people like in other places of the world like. But if that makes you feel better about yourself, ok.

I was born and raised here, you wouldn’t catch me driving a truck like the ones in this post, but I still feel some loyalty to say, why don’t you come here and talk this shit to these peoples faces?

This was a light-hearted thread to celebrate the creativity, and poke fun at the absurdity of these trucks. Certainly these Tacos are meant to be both fun and over-the-top, and purposefully attract attention.

I think your darkness and negativity is a projection, and isn’t really the vibe that most people here are feeling.

These trucks boggle my mind, and I think they are absurd, but I love the fact fellas go hog-wild and do this to their tacos.
