How is it? I’ve been eyeing that bottle for awhile but tend to lean away from the sweeter scotches. Now that I know it isn’t sweet, I think I might have to pick it up

I agree. I've been drinking Hibiki for years and can't bring myself to throw the empties out. Along with Blanton's and a few others, I have an overflowing garage cabinet. Someday I'll figure out a creative use for them.

I would call this a good summer sipper. It's light and tasty, better after it's been open for several days. Don't expect it to smack you in the mouth like an islay or a strong bourbon.

I’m in for a good summer scotch, I do tend to love islays the most, but I’ve never had anything from Compass Box I didn’t like.drinking a highland park cs right now, definitely one of the best scotches I’ve had

When we went in through el portal via the 140 no smoke. Camped not too far from curry village no smoke. We had campfires each night in the campground. On the way out through the 140 yesterday there was a little haze in the sky but not horrible. The 41 entrance is still closed.

Was perusing the store in a questionable neighborhood In hopes for cheaper bottles, was not the case. Found this though, but I am assuming over priced.

This reminds me, I found the Kentucky Owl Confiscated on sale today for $105. Insane price, but…the reviews are not good.

Based on some googling it seems like that bottle is still low for that particular bottle no? Looks like I see prices for it anywhere from $230-300 online. Hmmmm.

I meant that it’s an insanely good price…but the reviews don’t encourage me to get it.

Common theme among my friends who have tried many of the RR offerings is that RR10 is on par with 13, especially when price disparity is taken into account.

Oh, yeah that’s an insane price on the bad side! There are some bottles that might be worth that price, I just don’t know enough about that one. Or the one I saw.

Some bourbon porn for everyone. Only one of these is for me, but I think having three at any one time is probably a once in a lifetime event.

According to the internet, batch #1 is the holy grail and batch #2 MSRP'd at $199 back when it was released in 2018. Almost makes me think it has potential investment value but hard to figure out true costs. Also literally have no idea where I could sell it if I got it.
