I've seen a couple threads already. Lots of suggestions for cut and replace. Looking for other ideas before I get the Sawzall out. On top of that LCA's are about $325 a piece.

Anybody drive across the border to the USA for work or shopping lately?
What does CBP ask...anything extra about shots?
I have heard coming back is a bit of a hassle at the moment, but don't know much on an exit.
(is someone gonna say there is a thread on this? lol, threads on everything it seems)
Also did Mav. say something about a weekday run?

i have crossed at least a half dozen times in the last month or two at a couple different borders with no issue. i have mostly been asked my vax status going into the US but have not had to show proof and there was no hassle in any way with that or anything else.

returning to Canada requires the ArriveCan app but its easy enough to use that i am not sure why its deterring people from crossing (so i hear). they still ask all the same questions coming back in and no issues bringing back booze or anything else if you declare it (might have to pay tax as usual).

Giving away a bunch of shit….

I’m tired of looking at the box with my Squareone Sidemount Bike Rack. It’s FREE to whom ever wants it. Both driver and passenger side mounts, with stainless mounting hardware.
I’ll be bringing it to the mall crawl on August 7th.
    @Saturnine has dibs, if he no longer wants it, it’ll go to the next person who calls dibs; it’s this thing (3rd gen needs front bed rail - will not come with the rocky mount);

All I ask in return is to just give it away to the next person once/if you’re done using it in the future… a donation to a charity of your choice would be cool as well

@Norilsk — can I unload the stock OR suspension on you for anyone who wants it as a temp solution in the future for while their suspension is being rebuilt or whatever? This will be a ‘community’ suspension.

Anyone want a basically new Head Squash Racquet? I’m tired of looking at it as well lol

Unfortunately Whiteline bushings aren't available for 3rd gens, so that leaves aftermarket LCA assemblies as the next best option. They're $150-$200 apiece:

    https://www.thewrenchmonkey.ca/products/auto-parts/mevotech/cms861298/
Call them before ordering as the website stock status isn't accurate.

Replacement OEM cam bolts are rather expensive though. If you're running an adjustable UCA like SPC/Mevotech, you can run locking cam bolts like those offered by Bison Offroad (which I have a set for sale) or 333 Fabrications.

Another alternative is to purchase second gen bushings and use reamer to make them work with the third gen.

Those LCA's are way cheaper than OEM! I did manage to get all 4 bolts out today. The rear 2 took some persuasion. The front 2 run through a spacer. The spacer on both sides are seized to the bushings also the spacers look like they are part of the adjusters. I don't see the adjuster/spacer listed on Toyota Parts Direct or with the aftermarket LCA.

I still have the stock UCA. Do your Bison cam bolts not require the spacer?

Pictures of said spacer? There should be a sleeve that's integral to the front cam disc, and a through bolt that torques everything down.

That's the part I was referring to. Do the aftermarket cam adjusters use a larger dia bolt instead of the sleeve/cam disc?

Yes, either a larger diameter bolt or a straight sleeve over the a bolt

The 3rd gen double cab brake light likes to leak. Yes it makes as much sense as a fuel pump impeller that melts in fuel...

Free to a good home Bison Cam Tabs, one tab is bent a bit, but should not cause issues…

Also my camburg arms going to be up for sale soon, BJ would need to be changed, bushings still solid and no need to change, i greased them religiously
