@koditten I met the guy I sold my boat to at the bank yesterday, he wanted a notarized bill of sale so he can get a title for it. He said he's already got a 6hp engine for it.

After the customer breaks off a few taps in that heat treated hole then maybe you'll get the whole job.

Wish I could figure out a way to post this little clip of the 6061 parts I posted above. My first Live-5 toolpath. Just a deburr path with a 1/8 ballmill.. but feels good nonetheless. not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Just gets nerve racking making sure rotations and clearance/retract planes are set correctly, watching the table and head move with my hand on the oh shit button. lol

Have the top half of that case machined. We ended up putting shims underneath 3 of the 4 legs to get it very close to level. Bottom line my assumption that all of those spot faces being even to the parting line was incorrect. So most likely they just machined until they cleaned up for washer and cap-nut.
The really crummy part is not a single one had a good enough amount of weld build up out at the edges. Having a small void there just gives it a place to start the erosion process.
Engineer makes the call though not me:notsure:
The rest of the story....not to male excuses BUTT
they tell the welders on a Thursday afternoon that the guy for pre-post heat will be here Friday morning then they look at heat post weld heat time of 8 hours

So glad I was able to find a model of this box. Will make laying out everything in my program so much easier.

New bolt bins showed up finally. I had to go and get them, but they were in town and I saved like $85 on shipping. Supposed to only stack them 66" high or so, but I'm going to be about 1' over that. I figure some anchors at the top to the wall will be ok.

I'll get them bolted together and start organizing them in a few days.

Anyone else really like organizing their junk drawers and tool boxes? Just me?

When my grandfather passed my grandmother told me whatever I want from the garage go get it before it grows legs. One of the biggest regrets was passing up the bolt bins, one like that larger one. The main reason I didn't take them..?. They were full of bolts:facepalm::frusty:

I vaguely remember when it was sold at the garage sale. Guy was so excited to get everything so cheap. I remember after price was agreed upon he left then came back with help to remove all the nuts bolts washers. I also recall them moving hastily as if we'd change our minds or something

So I have been doing some things around the house chores for a friend that's not very good health. I noticed yesterday three wasp/hornets nest near and above the door going into the house.
    Poll idea???
    Best method for dispatching hornets..
    1) kerosene or lighter fluid on a rag wrapped on a stick (on fire of course)
    2) carburetor cleaner
    3) wasp/hornets spray
    4) just leave them alone?

The shed where I work on the Corvette had a nest above the door. I didn't notice them and when I opened the door one dropped out and tag my neck!

Exactly why I don't leave them be when they are in an area I frequent. They are assholes lol.

Doesn't help you didn't see them, that happens, but if you know they are there, they gotta go.

I vote super soaker and soap. Don't want to risk burning the house down. At work I use a dielectric wasp spray so I don't electrocute myself though.

#3. I seen somewhere you can spray them with Dawn detergent mixed in water and that’s supposed to kill them, but I’ve never tried it. Gas works best on yellowjackets in the ground.

Does soap and water actually work?
