What a coincidence! Selling my three-pedal ‘19 Alltrack is [supposed to be] how I covered the trade difference going from my AT-equipped Frontier to my 6MT Tacoma. Still plan to… know I need to… know I said I would… know it’s the responsible thing to do… maybe next week will be the “right time?

I think my 2016 5MT would be more correct with 4.30s. 1st, 2nd, 3rd are ok, 4 and 5 need a bigger lever. 6MT with only one overdrive and a very low 1st/reverse with 4.56 would be grand.

The 4:30's and 6MT are all right. I do like the gear ratios in the RC60F a little more. Especially reverse. Where I think some improvement could be had is a second selectable lower Tcase ratio. This would give a good overall highway setup and still give more offroad options.

The 60 would be nice for sure though I’d want deep axle gears to run 6th. But by the time you do that, you turn 1st into a granny. Which is fine but takes getting used to. Reverse would be sweet with the 60 ratio and the lower axle gears. Essentially 50% gear reduction over stock.

And I still think the 60 operated as a 5 speed on 4.30 gears would be excellent. Nice low 1st, good 2nd, decent 3rd, solid 4/5.

Tony, would you please explain to @SilverBulletII why you asked for that information about his truck. Some people might not know what you do. Thanks man.

    Great point. Thanks!

@SilverBulletII . We're trying to get all the 2.7l model configurations covered for vF Tuning support. The 2016 and 2017 MTs (same ECU), are the only ones that we do not know. See the 1st Post here for the details:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-tacoma-2-7l-ecu-tuning.509865/

    Thanks!

Hahaha! Just some creeper who wants to know your digits.
