    I was just talking about this with the GF and wanted to post it up here. How come now that gas prices are going up for the second time not one media source is talking about it. When it happened the first time every media outlet was "Get your cheapest gas here" blah blah blah. Just seems strange to me... I mean it is getting pretty high. Even in Arizona!

    Not much......college student using the GI Bill to survive.
    It is man, if I had to guess I would say it's the rising demand. While the economy isn't as strong as it was it has picked up. Not only in the US but globally so the rising demand causes prices to go up. The uprisings in the middle east aren't helping either.

    He wasn't asking about why prices are going up. He was asking why the media haven't blown it out of proportion yet. If the media gets it and broadcasts it, the gov will have to do something about it. Thats why. Big oil paid off the media.

    They are talking about it here in GA. I started a thread the other day about the local media here saying it could reach $7 a gallon this summer. They had some "experts" giving thier opinions that they think it is a very real possibility. :eek:
