Fixed my overheating issue. I’ve been doing a ton of research and trying to track down part numbers, ordered a thermostat and everything and decided to check one more thing…

On the left, AC condenser. On the right, radiator. In the middle, gobs and gobs of mud and grass. Gave it a few good rinses with my pressurized water extinguisher and now it’s back to idling at 190 degrees with full AC. Before it was red lining at idle after 10 minutes, what a difference a little bit of mud makes! Stoney lonesome’s mud was all it could take, I’m sure it’s be accumulating like that for awhile:D

I used to have a picture of my setup used some 3/16 cable and made a loop around the axle and put the loop on the other end on my sledge gave it a swing and popped right out, way better than the pry bar method.

This is way easier I’ve replaced both on my blue truck, gotta do the ds on my rc the boots started leaking and the seal on the diff is a lil moist so gonna do ecgs bushing and a new cvj axle I’ve got in the garage. The outer dust seal got beat up so gotta get that at the dealer.

The trick is to get the clip to sit ontop of the the axle. It usally comes right out when I can find it. Just had bad luck tonight and got tired of hitting the pry at and it slipping and hitting my knuckles . My wife got tired of holding the axle lol

Working in this humid Bama weather!

It has been kinda slow. We've been busy fiddling with the pool and finally got the liner installed and pump system rebuilt!
