Not a lot of basements around here. I guess it’s difficult/costly thing because of all the rocks but it seems like a nice cool basement would be in demand in the desert.

I just receved a new picture and I'm curious to see what names you guys can come up with for the new pup.

I won't say what names we've tossed around but we haven't found one where everyone thinks "yeah, that's perfect" yet.

Keep in mind that the bulldog that passed away was named Nougat and the pom/poodle is Churro so I'd kind of like it to stay in the sweet food category.

Up here, we need to dig to 48" to get below the frost line so you might as well dig a bit more and make some useful space.

It is amazing how much cooler the basement is in the summer even though I have all of the vents closed. Walking down the stairs, every step you can feel the temp drop.

If going with the sweet theme, the pup needs to be named Elephant Ears.

People not wanting to work is effecting most all skilled labor businesses along with the supply chain issues for the same reason.

Having a basement in this part of the country if you get any real use it needs to be climate controlled and insulated.

Growing up with the dirt floor basement lots of moisture and interesting life forms in the dark.

Then this basement was in a 1860`s farm house with no central heat or indoor plumbing . Hand dug .

The basement walls were stone not poured concrete .

The other shop locally used to be the #1 place to go.
But the original of that shop has Parkinson and his son runs the business. Last vehicle there was my sons Scion TC and the place where it needed bondo
Looks like it was finished with the cheese grater and that's no exaggeration whatsoever. Won't be going back there and don't see him remain in business with such a low quality work.

Usually the shops that are so backed up are the good ones, hope you can find one to get it fixed soon!!!

Seems to be the way so many family run businesses tend to be.

Dad wants his kid or kids to have a better life spoils them like crazy they end up with no work ethic and just suck all the money out of the business..

Like everything else there are always exceptions .

    Yeah thanks Shane.
It really bothers me but guessing I'll get over it. It's just I'm usually much more aware of what I'm doing and crashing into things...not the regular me, head not on straight or something.
I'm sure most can understand that feeling.

Edit; plus I'm ready to hand this car off to my daughter and sooner its fixed the better.
I figure that car has enabled me to earn nearly a million dollars taking me back and forth to work the last 9 years.
