Pricey, but yes. I eventually plan on insulating the basement walls, spray foam would be ideal and carry the envelope up into the sill plate. Or XPS. Time will tell. I'd also like to make my attic part of the envelope. I have a 7/12 pitch, would love to vent the soffit up to the ridge cap (standing seam steel roof), spray foam under that vent, keep my entire HVAC system inside the envelope would make it more efficient in summer AND winter. I'd still have room up there for storage as well.

You have a 22re in it now? How about a sweet, mildly built 7MGE block (N/A MKIII SUPRA) The stock internals (like 9:1CR) with a factory Toyota CT26 turbo will get the slightly higher compression ratio with the GE block for low end torque and the fun of the turbo. Even mild boost, 10psi will make you around 300rwhp.

If you go that route, the 7m will bolt into a 22re powered truck with 5M motor mounts, and bolt up to your transmission (a W56?) using the W58 7MGE bellhousing from a MKIII Supra. If you're interested, I have a set of 5M motormounts. Was planning to do this to my '94 4X4 but the truck disintegrated before those plans came to fruition.

    my kind of people.

so.. this is my plan. I've had it for about 4 years or so. Did a bunch to it already.. Its a RN50 chassis with a 22R and W55 5 speed. I plan to do a N/A v8 swap (3uz more than likely, unless I can stuff a UR in it) and utilize the W55 in it now. Full harness to keep everything working including AC, gauges, etc. Coilover swap the front end with StabFab parts and some other goodies from small time Toyota minitruck Fab guys. 4 link the rear with coilovers. Just want to make it a fun sleeper street truck. I have met a few guys in the Minitruck world that have done this and actually make the harnesses and parts for it all. My wife and I drove it from Phx to LA for a minitruck show. Spent the weekend out there talking and gathering info. Made some good friends and gathered a ton of info. There are a few guys that have done the Beams 7agte swaps, 1J's and 2J's.. they are all very intriguing and tempting.. but something about the sound of a V8 coming from that little truck just already puts a smile on my face... :D lol

I admire people who gather info and have a plan, I don't usually do that :anonymous:

I took my stock 1988 Toyota that was wore out and married my Dodge 3/4 ton with a 318 V8 to the underneath of it :D
