Jump Seats

Glad I could raise the bar!

 

Worth mentioning my extremely uncomfortable passenger up front was my 5' 0" wife and the uncomfortable person in the jump seats was here 5'0" sister. My wife had her knees smashed into the dash and her sister was still miserable the whole drive.

 

yes i have the manual transmission.
paid msrp and had it in my driveway within 2 months.

 

Well I am 5'2", so I will have to find people shorter than me to hang out with now.

 

Do you mind me asking when you ordered your truck?

 

In the US you can only get a manual transmission access cab with the TRD Sport model. That could be why the price was higher.

The Access Cab back seats have very little padding. At one point I was thinking about trying Stadium Cushions, but honestly a two legged human rarely rides in the back of my Access Cab.

I thought about getting some kind of extra cushion as well. Now that I have decided on the access cab w/jump seats, I just have to get my hands on a Tacoma and then I'll worried about passenger comfort.

 

Even if you do not have a dog, building a dog platform for the back comes in handy (like for Costco runs / toolboxes etc.). This thread gave me ideas when I built my dog platform.

i ordered the truck dec 30, 2021 in kamloops bc. delivered feb 19, 2022.
dealer claimed they managed to swap with another dealer somewhere to get me the truck i wanted in white.
originally dealer expected tentative delivery in march 2022.

 

That looks great! I may have to make one of theses well.
