I was not aggressive at all. Service writers are the worse, they are just sales people that know very little about cars, most of them at least. I'm not tipping anyone at the dealership, that is insane.

 

I am pretty sure it is more staffing issue, even my sale guy left

 

I wasn't sure at first but now I am convinced; you will go far in life with that attitude. What an entitled hatchet wound!

 

Dropping a lemon law bomb on them the first visit was an epic fail. And you refuse to go to another dealer even though you burned a bridge with the current dealer.

On the brighter side, you now have 50+ posts so you can sell it here.

 

If you try to record at dealerships they will kick you out, at least in my state.

I do agree it was stupid to drop the lemon bomb, but I only dropped it near the end.

Ahh found them. Can’t tell where the sound is coming from, but it doesn’t sound internal to me (on my phone…).

Sounds like it is coming from the back. Either bottom or side of the plastic intake manifold.

 

It’s different in every state. Typically it’s
X number of days in the shop or Y number of attempts to fix, within Z months of purchase.

 

At this point, OP needs to make an appointment to take his new truck to another dealership for warranty service. If he keeps trying to “push” it on the selling dealership that his sales person no longer works, they have made it CLEAR that they are not going to put forth an extra effort to help him after his “Lemon Law” remark.

Call the dealership, tell them to send a tow truck and the engine is knocking. Go bye and get a copy of the paperwork and tow bill, start the ball rolling. Ask for a loaner car. Drop that bitch off in the service bay.

I'm gonna laugh if they put a zip tie on the torque converter after the first warranty claim he bitched about. I'm sure that was a very pleasant experience as well.
