Anyone with a grom that needs a new lid? I’ve got a Leatt MTB All-Mtn 1.0 Jr. that turned out to be a touch too big for my little guy. I got too excited for him and removed all tags and packaging so I can’t return it.

It’s been worn a couple times in the driveway. Nothing more. Can be had from Jenson USA (where I ordered it) for $60
    https://www.jensonusa.com/Leatt-AllMtn-10-Junior-Helmet

If someone wants it and is willing to cover shipping I’ll gladly send it their way.

Looking into the sizing now, but I may be interested! My little guy has an absolute melon head and I've been looking to get him a new helmet. How big/old is your kid? Want to make sure the sizing is somewhat close - new to getting him something to fit and haven't measured his head yet.

My bro is 3yo going on 4. He’s a relatively small fella, but definitely measure your dudes knoggin. This lid adjusts for 50-54cm.

Chuck Lennon Park is a little over an hour north, Spruce Creek/Doris Leeper preserve is about the same distance/time north and a little east. I’ve ridden Chuck Lennon, it was a good time but I don’t have much experience with anything other than east coast Florida trails. I have heard Doris Leeper is nice as well but have never ridden it.

No data on places to rent around either of those. They are both about an hour south of me.

Congrats buddy! Loved my Speed Triple. Absolute awesome bike. I'm sure you'll enjoy this and it'll take you on some awesome rides. I'm sure you already know, but the Mirror Lake ride and the 40 are excellent day rides.
He'll grow into it soon enough though, right?

I know most of you are mountain bikers but man I'm watching the tour de france and the yellow jersey and 2nd place guy have some pretty awesome bike handling, both avoiding some potentially race ending falls on the descent just now

Yes! Those guys are definitely impressive bike handlers. If you haven't already seen it, go watch stage 12. Tom Pidcock displays some incredible descending skills! That guy has to be the best all around biker in the world right now. He's a cyclocross world champ, XC olympic champ, and now TDF stage winner.

Tom Pidcock is a beast, I had him on my XC fantasy team last year haha. I haven't watched the race for a couple years but I have been surprisingly entertained by it this year

He’d grow into it soon enough. But it wasn’t tight enough for me to feel comfy with him riding in it. He’s on the bike daily, and takes plenty of spills. So a more proper fitting lid was immediately ordered. The replacement has some adjustment overlap into the Leatts range so it really will just be sitting. May as well see if anyone can use it here. If not I’ll donate it somwhere locally.

Yeah, excited to get out and explore some of those places on two wheels now that I am not concerned about the bike simply making the journey without issue.

Ok, not bike related, but I don't interact much on this forum other than in this thread so wanted to share my truck related experience. Just got a tune on my third gen and holy shit it's like a different vehicle! It drives SOOOO much better than stock I was actually shocked. No clue how Toyota let that stock tune and transmission logic leave the factory, but it seems like the hardware is there for a nice driving truck. Best $500 I've spent and makes those drives to the TH for biking so much better. If you have a their gen and don't have a tune, do yourself a favor and get one!

I can relate to a lot of this post. This thread and some regional ones are about as far as I go these days.

Yup. Turds need a tune without question. The first 6 months of ownership of mine were full of regret as I’d sold my beloved 2nd gen trail limo to get the turd. I eventually just learned to deal with it, but finally got a tune installed last year. Absolute night/day difference. I had a few tweaks done and it was primo. Unfortunately I’ve now gone to 285s so I need another tweak to get some pep back.

That is possible with the right tune. Obviously the pilot can still negate any possible gains if driving like an asshat.

where, how, and what tune did you get? I have a 2012, never had any issues with it... but would be curious and interested in getting a tune...

yea definitely. but I'm curious if driving habits/styles are the same pre- and post tune, how it ends up averaging out.
