They announced he was out a couple of weeks ago. The rumor is that Noah Gragson will be in that car next season.

that I did not know. Noah has more growing up to do. Not sure if they want him in Cup yet. Whatever happens, if KB doesn't stay with Toyota and JGR, it'll sure be interesting.

Honestly, I still expect JGR to get something done even if it means Toyota sponsoring that car to keep Kyle in it. If not in a Toyota then maybe a deal with Ford but I cannot think of any scenario where KB is back in a Chevrolet. The bowties are covered for years to come with high profile drivers and I can't imagine KB being affiliated with HMS in any way again and that rules out anything of quality in a chevy unless Trackhouse starts a 3rd team. I guess when you are a dick for years, with this cancel culture now. These big corporations might not want to play with you.

Agreed on all fronts. And if Noah goes to the 42 he will be out of cup in a few years. I suspect.

Yeah, Jr. did say he expects JRM to move up to cup at some point but I think we are several years away from that. They have to sort out this whole charter deal. And if they do I hope Noah is not the person they put in it.

Could you imagine what would happen if RCR ends up with both Dylan brothers as drivers. That will be the end of RCR.

I know Toyota throws a lot of money at JGR but when you think about it. What they (Joe) has accomplished is a lot. We all put JGR on the same pedestal as Penske and HMS and even SHR but Joe does not have a billionaire partner like Tony. He does not have another complete industry like Penske and Hendrick. He has a net worth of something like 60 million. That team is the business for JGR. HMS can afford to go get drivers like Larson and stuff and not care if the car is funded because they use other ventures to leverage money to those teams. At the end of the day it's all a method to move money around for taxes for billion dollar empires but JGR is not that. Hell, Dale Jr. is worth 400 million or so. Just for some perspective.

At HMS those cars will be the same regardless of if they have names on the side. At JGR those $'s mean a lot more.

There have been rumors RCR is for sale. There are no charters available. I could see Dale Jr buying into that deal. What a story arc!

Also- I could see Kyle going to the #10. They’ve been mum and he’s certainly playing an offer there against Gibbs.

I could see that with Aric going part time after this season. However, I can't see Kyle going to any other number than 4. Maybe, as we all may expect hope, Harrick retires, KB slides into the 4 with only Tony to look after him. Than Aric runs part time in the 10?

Oh could see that. I just hope he ditches anything with the name Dylan on it if they do buy it. RCR has just fallen to far behind. I do not see them ever returning to greatness. It would be good for the sport.

I just don't see KB going to the #10, especially with the way SHR runs their teams. I believe I heard somewhere that the 10 was basically Gene Haas project car, much like the 14 is to Tony.

HMS is about the only place (apart from JGR) that could potentially afford to pay Busch. However, HMS has all of their drivers under contract and waiting in the wings. I don't see Busch leaving Toyota and he doesn't want to. He even said he "bleeds Toyota" in an interview last year. Not to mention Toyota would lose a major development camp in KBM. Everyone on both sides want this deal to happen, but finding that 3rd piece to make it happen is the main hold up and it has caused frustration on both sides.

The electric series is according to leaked documents. No official announcement has been made. I expected this, but not so soon. I'd be interested in it, especially if it means better technology down the road for the consumer. However, I can already hear the whining.
