Possible silver lining; by the look of the driveways, this is your neighbor's tree. Their homeowner's insurance should be paying for this, I believe.

Varies by state law. Here in South Carolina it is considered an act of God and your insurance would have to cover it regardless of who's land the tree is on. That is unless the tree was obviously neglected by the owner.

    Texas is the same way.

Unless there is willful neglect by the tree owner, your insurance covers your damage.

The irony is that if the truck wasn't lifted, there would have been a good chance that the tree would have missed it. :drevil:

I see glass and some minor body work. Hopefully an easy fix, OP.

Damn that's a bummer. What's the damage assessment?
Is the tree in your property or another one? In our state, it's the property owners responsibility to care for, and pay for any damages resulting from the tree. Maybe neighbor covers it?

It's a sign from the heavens that it's time to put that poor truck out of it's misery.

Got the tree off. It's not horrible. Scratches on door, fender, pillar, Hood is crinkled up, hole in the windshield, roof rack is toast, the roof took a pretty good lick though. Could have been a lot worse.

It was my tree so as far as insurance goes it all falls on my auto policy. State Farm said they will pay a portion of the $2,000 it cost to get the tree off of my truck, so that's pretty cool.

Lol! It's far from over. I did the 2012 swap on the front, as soon as I come across a 3rd Gen I can harvest some rear parts from I'm going to upgrade it to a 3rd Gen
