I just bought my 2013 Tacoma 4.0L and would like some information I can't seem to find on the internet. I can access a data list with my FOXWELL OBD2 scanner and would like to know what a perfect data list would look like? You can tell a lot about a car and how well it is running from this data list so with 150K miles, I want to make sure the car is running perfect. I am a tech for Honda so I know a few monitored systems can transfer over because most gas engines use the same monitors across the board. Here is what my current data list looks like at idle:
    FUEL SYS 1: CL
    FUEL SYS 2: CL
    LOAD_PCT(%): 35.7
    ECT(DEGF): 194
    SHRTFT(%): 1.6
    LONGFT1(%): .8
    SHRTFT2(%): .8
    LONGFT2(%): 2.3
    RPM(rpm): 807 - IDLE
    VSS(mph): 0 - IDLE
    SPARK ADV(DEG): 15
    IAT(DEG F): 122
    MAF(lb/s): .01
    TP(%): 17.3
    AIR_STAT: NO DATA
    02SLOC/ B1S12: NO DATA
    O2B1S2(V): .410
    SHRTFTB1S2 (%): N/A
    O2B2S2(V): .740
    SHRTFTB2S2(%): 99.2
    RUNTM(SEC): 1148
    MIL_DIST(MILES): 0
    EQ_RATB1S1: .988
    O2B1S1(V): 3.269
    EQ_RATB2S1(V): 3.274
    EVAP_PCT(%): 47.1
    WARM_UPS: 1
    CLR_DIST(MILES): 7
    BARO(psi): 14.1
    EQ_RAT11: 1.000
    O2S11(mA): -.004
    EQ_RAT21: .999
    O2S21(mA): 0
    VPWR(V): 13.085
    LOAD_ABS(%): 16.9
    EQ_RAT: .999
    TP_R(%): 0
    TP_B(%): 49.0
    APP_D(%): 15.7
    APP_E(%): 32.2
    TAC_PCT(%): 17.3
    EVAP_VP(psi): 14.2
    N/D_STAT: NEUT

If anyone can help me determine if any of this data seems out of place, it would be greatly appreciated. I do have access to all data and pro demand but those don't help me too much in terms of information, just repairs. Thanks!

It all looks good to me but if the truck is running good and there's no codes or symptoms of a problem then looking at scan data isn't all that useful other than learning what known good values are.

It looks like someone just cleared the codes or had the battery unhooked as the distance since codes cleared (CLR_DIST) is only 7 miles.

Yeah, I cleared the codes. It threw a P0441 (purge flow incorrect,) so I replaced the gas cap as a first step. It sometimes feels like there’s a misfire but it could be motor/ trans mounts going bad due to age. I need to do some routine maintenance to it as well. Thanks for your feedback! @Dm93

I'd maybe pull up ECT and fuel trims.. but it'll set codes if there's any issues anyway. Might as well just drive it

I think the fuel trims are low because of the 33 inch tires/ lift. I can tell the truck is working hard to give me the power I’m asking out of it. Eventually I plan on re-gearing the front and rear differentials + tuning to get the most miles out of a tank. That’s especially important because I also plan on making it a camping rig so there will be a ton of weight in the truck. thanks for your feedback! @b_r_o

When everything is happy the fuel trims are supposed to be low, like close to zero. When there's an issue they go high (positive or negative)

Long term is the one to watch, it will adjust over time to compensate for an issue, like a lean condition. Short term is going to move around a lot, like simply going up a hill

Fuel trims should be 0 +/-10% total (long term+short term) trim so yours are exellent although it's best to look at them under multiple driving conditions to get an acurate assesment.
Typically rich/lean codes will set at around +/- 20% total trim.

You need misfire counters to help you diagnose the stumble better. Fuel trim is fine, but really there's not a lot of useful data from that list. Can you pay to license the Toyota data for the scan tool?

If you haven't yet, pull the plugs and check them out, they're basic copper and should be replaced every 30k. Also look closely at the coil boots for signs of arcing

I’m going to look into that, very good idea. Thank you.

Okay, awesome. There’s no codes and the fuel trims are below 1% and the closer to 0 on either negative or positive sides the better. That makes total sense

I was going to the day I bought it but I opted out due to laziness. I will check them out soon. Probably when I do all the flushes and first oil change.
