    So I found out today that 3rd gen Tacomas don't like to get rowdy. Besides the obvious lack of power it also will not let you go near the rev limiter and punishes you for even considering such a thing lol

    I don't think my 2nd gen would need a rev limiter. It's doing about 1500 rpm at highway speeds. It likes to just loaf along. When I floor it, it doesn't do much, but makes a huge ruckus!

    Yeah, I definitely had traction and stability off. Second gear doesn't have enough power so I had it in first and I would stomp it and kick the ass end out and then when the RPMs would get too high it would slap me on the wrist and not let it get higher than 4500. Also tried stomping it in 2nd but it would drop down to first, wind out, shit and wrist slap... I think perhaps you guys are correct and I will need a tune lol
