    I still have all my shit - the Air Force didn't want it back. "It touched you - it's yours." Still have my parka, 3 sets of Gore-Tex, winter boots, ALICE gear, and plate carrier.

    Well, except for the M-16A2 and M9, and my plates. They were pretty insistent about those getting turned back in.

    I use my silkies issued from Alaska for hunting, keeps ya nice and toasty. I got rid of pretty much everything else in the "touched you" category for the most part. Kept some of the combat pants/shirts thinking they'd come in handy, they haven't

    I have a whole new kit that I have put together. My gear now is 10x better than what we had back in the early 90's. And lighter for that matter. :notsure:
