I left IT Ops and went to the design side and it made me hate IT a lot less but it's a bit boring some days because the pace is slower. It can get old meeting with companies to find out about their new products and listen to their pitch about their magic hardware

I'm heading out to Whistler, BC this weekend to get out of the heat and do some hiking. My wife set us up a Fly Fishing guide as a surprise for Monday because I had said I wanted to try it out one day. Anyone have any tips? I grew up fishing with my grandparents but I wouldn't say I'm an angler and my wife has never fished.

Still debating whether I should go ham and try to mount mine on ditch brackets.

Problem with front mounting on T4Rs is that the safety sense sensor is right in that front grille, so any bar that comes across is gonna freak it out.

 

Yeah they would have been a bit tiny. I like these there. Also got the ditch lights up and wired. And took off my stock steering wheel and but a new momo wheel on. All in all lots of good things happening.

Fly fishing for trout is an art, unless you have the perfect fly around a hatchery. So start out as patient as you can and soak up the guide’s input. Don’t cast with your wrist unless you like untangling fishing line. If you do have tangling issues don’t worry about long casts…

 

The wife drives a diesel Jetta and needs general maintenance work done. Anyone have a specialty Volkswagen shop they would recommend?

I like AZEuros but they do higher end stuff so will be expensive and are usually booked pretty far out. I dont know of a diesel specific shop in AZ but I bet there is one hiding somewhere.
