Is the FJ tranny the same as the Tacoma? The 6spd in the Tacoma was also used in some GM vehicles, such as the 5th gen Camaro.

Put some new shoes on the Tacoma while down here. 40k and the wildpeaks were at the wear-bars.. and vibrating.

Otherwise, enjoying the heat, and mellow pace....I'd be posted up on the beach with the wife and the dog... but, wheelchair and sand... no bueno.:notsure:

You need this! Like 4k so might not be a cost effective solution

    It's probably hotter here!

Cool beans! I'm in East Prov. White turd gen bumpers and ditch lights. Hard to miss me if you see me :D

Not much down here. Whenever I want to go anywhere it's usually VT NH. Cape once a year - but right now it's 100% off limits for driving thanks to the damn plovers.

If its the 2nd gen Taco, then yes, assuming you're talking about the V6 transmission, not the I4. Bellhousing bolt pattern between the Taco and FJ are the same.

The inline 4 Taco only had a 5spd manual.

Are you saying there's already a bell housing to link a 5.3 to existing gen 2 tranny?

Wrong quote but same question

That's what I'm hoping. My FJ has the RA61F, and I don't think the bellhousing is removable. :notsure: In my brief research, the AY6 was paired up with a V6 engine. I wonder if they would have the same bellhousing pattern as an LS?

If I could get an AY6 bellhousing, swap that on to my RA61F, then bolt it to the LS- that would be DOPE

If any of you fine New Englanders are in the market for a carbureted, dual sport thumper in the DR350 flavor, let me know :anonymous: I'm not getting much use out of it and have other toys that the money could go towards. It's not listed anywhere yet, I need to pull it out and tune it up so I'd call it a feeler at this point. I'll likely get it listed within a month or so.

Funny enough, when I bought the dirtbike Tony was selling it to buy a mountain bike. At the time, I couldn’t fathom spending that much money on a mountain bike…
