    As stated above, this thread will ultimately be merged with one of my larger "Stalking" threads; Due largely to the scourge of rust, mint condition Toyota pickups are hardly common in my neck of the woods and I don't want a 1979 Lincoln-based Batmobile to appear in the thumbnail of the "Hilux/Truck" thread until I find another 1995-older Toyota truck to photograph. As such, I decided to post these two pictures at the end of this thread...

    I saw this 1988 Toyota pickup in a parking lot today. According to Carfax, it has been in Connecticut since 2018. I am guessing that the original bed rotted out or was damaged. Swaps of newer beds onto older domestic trucks seem fairly common based on what I've seen at car shows, so I'm thinking that's what the owner was doing. On another note, the color was noted as red in 2017, green in 2018, and blue in 2019... o_O
