Good morning everyone! Tried my best to stay up as long as possible last night so I can sleep some today I’m loading at 7 this evening and pulling out before 8 I’m sure not having to load many this trip. But they are all worth it and especially these one has been in the shelter a long time and two are older owner surrenders. And another is one I picked up at the vets office myself a few months back that would scream every time you touched her. Even though she was on pain medication but finally when the steroids took effect she recovered. She is headed to a adopter in pa that is beside himself excited to get her it’s great when things work out. And yesterday in our county someone was charged with a felony for animal neglect this is a victory for the animals in our county and the dog has been surrendered and is in good hands now. She will be nursed back to health and her start will become a bad memory she gets a start over beginning today!

I have always loved thunder and electrical storms. We get good thunder storms in CA, but for whatever reason, we never get to see the lightning. Not directly, anyway. We can see the glow in the clouds, but almost never the actual bolts themsleves. I am so looking forward to seeing some good storms once we get moved to southeast Kentucky next month :D

Nope. Can't be fixed, got to replace it. The dealer is still trying to find me one. It's a special size specific to this brand of camper

Evening folks. Preliminary recon of DC is complete and the following sitrep are the results.
    It's fucked.
    LOL
Never seen a more disoriented disaster in my life and I grew up here. Love DC and the surrounding area but you can have the traffic, thousands of places to spend money and the bad attitude at every turn. It's a true mess.
So, we'll get this family and friends event over with and move on to the next one. Seneca Rocks West Virginia awaits.

Agree 100% with your sit rep. I live 20 miles outside and work in DC. It is not the place it was. Homeless, mental people and crime have ruined the place.

I'm probable being a bit hard but even in the 89-90 years it was still inocent. This place like many others blew up as expected I guess. In 1968-1970 I lived in forest heights and walked across the beltway to school in Oxon Hill as a 10yo. You'd be dead, kidnapped if you did that now. LOL

Went over to Carderrock Rec area today where my brother and I learned to climb, then when we had the balls, went to Seneca to to the big stuff. LMAO. Goldline rope with 5 wraps around the waist back then. None of that nylon harness shit they have now. Ahahahahhahahahaha
