I was complaining that it was 87° up here today than I remembered everywhere else it's over 100°

That is pretty warm though for that elevation.

Just looked it up, I didn't realize Lake Tahoe was only just over 6,200 ft...thought it was higher than that

we've been hovering around 100. I put the AC on 82 and have been hiding out in the basement where it always stays cool.

Yeah thanks to our old energy inefficient house we can't really keep the temp any lower or it'll run constantly trying to maintain it

Yeah this house is kinda so so. The AC unit seems to have plenty of cool, but the blower is crap, so it all comes out of the lowest vents and stays in the basement. Even closing vents doesn't seem to help. I have a train of fans up the stairway for in the evenings when the sun goes down and I'm ready to cool off the upstairs.

It also helped that I pulled out the air filter....it was covered in grinding and welding "stuff"

Yeah we are not that high at lake level. Looks like Truckee will break 90° this week. 1st time since I moved here that I have seen a 90°

I wish we had AC I just run a few fans to keep airflow in the house.

I love when it's cold, it just sucks that the bathroom feels a good 5 degrees colder than the rest of the house.

Keep forgetting to close the vent some.

At least you don't have to worry about the tip touching the toilet seat at those temps
