Seemed to but I never drove a base model 3rd gen. Mine was a DEA undercover car before I got it as well.

 

My Buddy had a late 80s early 90s Camaro, it was a similar color to that Jeep you see beside it.

Yes sir, 84 was the last year of the 4 barrel carb.

I test drove an 86 or 88, i was driving down street hit the pedal and did a 360° in road unintentionally. I took it back and i didnt buy that one..scared me a bit

 

I'm betting that was a dealer installed stereo. Back in the day a factory cassette stereo was a fairly expensive option, dealers would order cars with base radios and then install the aftermarket tape player at the dealership.

They were manufacturer specific direct fit radios: GM, Chrysler, etc. At a glance you wouldn't notice it wasn't a OEM unit. I remember seeing many Audiovox made Chrysler specific units, back then.

 

Yep, they were light in the tail, horrible cars in the snow.

Because it's so damn hot this weekend and because my parents want me to avoid getting COVID before we leave for California in a week, I didn't go to any car shows this weekend...

However, I still got bored and went for a drive, surpassing 155K miles on the way back home!
