idiot report. backnin 2020 had covid during the original out break. work called for 14 day isolation and working swing shift lost 3weeks pay. filled unemployment got paid for 2 of the 3 weeks and that was end of story,Hell No. they send me a letter 6mo. ago. claim was denide and i own them the money back. i have appealed 3 times. says i was able to work. HR sent them email each time as why i was off, guess what. now sending me letters its denide because i make enough to assorb it. so because i work to earn a living they want money back. screw them. will sent this to them nextABA38D61-674B-4D79-84DF-0AC7FAF5ECA3.jpg

Some of us were raised different ;)

Plant your own seeds and receive thy own bounty... do not ride someone's coat tails as there might be "thorns" under 'em :eek:

Luckily it is working out for us, my semi-retirement has allowed me the time to take care of Con through her "Bionic rebuild" :transformer: and then we wait to "write the next chapter"

Changed the oil in the kids truck. Then checked the brakes because they had a slight squeak. Sure enough the slider was frozen on the caliper bracket. While wallowing on the ground fixing that I pulled my back. Wife comes home and parks in the garage. There’s a sweet smell. Yup her radiator is leaking :censored:

I've reversed the roles. My son does my oil changes. He even brought the fuel system fogger over and did the Jeep for me. Any repairs I can do I hand him the tools and he does the work.

I can't handle those long marathon trips anymore. If I have to do a long trip I plan out the hotel stops or fly.

We went the opposite way. Used to stay halfway, now we make it in one go.

I actually like the 14 hour drive, always liked driving, but I start at 6 am, not 10am.

I have a dream of downsizing to a 450 sq/ft. room addition over the garage, renting out the main house of 1907sqft. and traveling. I'd keep the 2 car garage for myself and car storage. Room over the garage has a private entrance with an exterior set of stairs and a 10x20 deck. If my snoring bothers my wife too much I'll just set up a cot in the garage!
