I have the same Billsteins. Thoroughly impressed with the bump handling at speed.

Any leaks that you know of? I’ve read some reviews where people say it leaks pretty bad. But, I often wonder if it is more of an install problem than an actual problem with the product. Some people just don’t do it right.

I’m not sure, only just got it and haven’t seen any rain. The seals all sit nice and tight. The weak spots are the two front corners to either side of the bulk head, and the tail gate. You could probably take some time with a little strategic extra weather stripping, and get it reasonably water resistant. As it sits, I fully expect water getting in at the bulkhead and tail gate, but it should drip down under the bed mat and out the back.
This guy took it through a car wash. That’s about what I would expect. See 19:30 https://youtu.be/Uat7CIFzye8

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Biggest OEM issue I have experienced, is the engine air filter. Tried a FRAM, and a few other brands, and all of them choked the engine. Only because the dealer here did not have an OEM filter in stock at the time.

Brutal loss of power. I have never experienced that before in 35 years with 4 different 4x4's. It was just sucking on high elevation climbs. So badly that I was putting my dirty OEM filter back in mid-trip and it performed better than a clean after market filter.

So I was finally able to get a new OEM engine air filter, and bingo the problem was solved. Back to normal performance. The other filters I assume are just too dense and restrict the air flow. Same as your home A/C and furnace system. You put in too dense of a furnace filter, and it restricts air flow and eventually wears on the furnace motor.

Looks pretty nice to me. I really like how low profile it is and the way it rolls up without blocking the entire back window. I imagine it can’t be used with a bed extender though. Not a big deal.

I have a K&N filter in mine. Seems fine, but I haven’t taken it up to any significant altitude to check the performance there. Hopefully it won’t be a problem. I guess I can take along the stock OEM one just in case.

I would bring the old one just in case. I have a 4,000 ft elevation climb I do twice per week to get to my fishing spots. So a 4,000 ft climb in about a 15 mile stretch. Speed limit is 70mph.

Tried 3 different brands of after market filters and all were just brutal. Every day here in summer, some 18 wheeler or RV or some overloaded truck will overheat and set on fire going up that stretch.

A lot of vehicle burn spots up that hill. When I come home from a trip and I am heading downhill, I usually pass 3 - 5 broken down vehicles that are heading up the hill.

Got some new decals from Etsy. Flat black and metallic gold.

Installed with soapy water went good, the 4x4 portion is a black decal over the gold 4x4 and so was difficult to get all the bubbles out as the black decal acts as a sort of seal. I’m debating on ordering some that have the gold just die cut instead of with the black outline overlaid on them. Turned out great for now though.

looks awesome! I removed all my badges and decals, Toyota overdid it on the branding IMO.

I don't think I will ever understand the whole debadging thing. I guess it's just personal preference. It was the same thing with my Camaro. The first thing a lot people did was remove all the badges. I don't get it. But, each to their own.

I had this 1 on my prev truck and loved it. The only drawback I found was you can't have it partially open in other positions 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 but that is the same with any rollup.

Just slapped on the WaterPORT Weekender. It has a great amount of pressure, this will come handy quite a bit. =)

Finally got music transferred to USB and voice controller works for everything except playlists. Don't know why. They are in folders like everything else. Good enough for now though. Not as exciting as new wheels or anything but now I got 5000 songs on this little thing!

Finally got a few more things completed. Bed rack and soft topper combo, warn 10k winch, and Relentless HC tire carrier. I do need to take the bumper off again and cut the besides about 3/4" higher so I can raise it up a bit.
