For the 2G Tacoma? Not sure I read it correctly, unless you mean the 4x4 2G

Afaik, for the 2nd gen Taco, the options were 5spd manual, 4spd auto for the I4, and 6spd manual, 5spd auto for the V6.

Eventually…. Nothing soon, but I’d sell the Polygon and pick up a carbon machine. I really like the Alchemy Arktos. But, I like the Polygon and I put some money into it to make it run the way I want so I’m not in a hurry to get rid of it.

I stopped to get gas today and some lady in front of me in an Acura was clearly struggling with the gas pump. She asked me if she had to pre-pay. I said if she's using cash, yes, not even thinking someone would try to pump gas before using their card like she had. She gestured to her plates and said that she's from New Jersey and they don't have to "do these things" and they love it that way.

I told her that's funny, since any time I've driven south I've deliberately avoided getting gas in New Jersey because of that law.

I had always heard NJ people like to defend that law but I had never met anyone in person. I can't imagine being proud of a rule that doesn't allow me to do a simple task myself, but to each their own.

I ALWAYS stop in NJ for gas. Not only do they pump it for you but it's cheaper than most places as well.

I visited my buddy in NJ two weeks ago. I stopped before and after NJ. They just let the cap dangle and they top off typically. No bueno. When my friend came to visit the first time he was clueless how to pump his own gas.

Some town still have rules about pumping your own fuel. Weymouth doesn’t let you pump your own.

A few weeks ago I was in Weymouth and the guy topped mine off , then again then again...I opened the door and told him if it clicked again I'd shove the nozzle down his throat. Full is full fukwad!

Maybe I overreacted but I was hungry and stupidity hurts my soul.

That's a pet peeve of mine too, less so when I see other people do it to theirs but how much more gas do you think you're getting put of this? Again, full is full :annoyed:

I can get a few extra gallons in mine. Diesel foams up pretty bad.

I avoid full service places, I had a couple bend my fuel door a while back. I used to top off to an even number but lately, with fuel prices being so high, I can’t get the pump to creep slow enough to make that happen anymore…

My first time in Albany, I met a kid at a car show. I had to teach him how to pump his own gas.

Yeah, they’re pretty slick but they aren’t giving them away, that’s for sure! Going to sell the dirt bike first, run the Polygon for a bit and see where I’m at for next year. With the new wheels and fork, it’s treating me well. I want to get my confidence up on the aluminum bike that I’ve already signed up before investing in a nice carbon framed ride.
