I just refreshed my wallet as one does every few years. For the first time ever, I bought the same slim bifold style twice in a row. Guess I'm getting set into my ways. Only difference is my new wallet puts the ID window on the outside instead of the inside. Time will tell whether I like that idea.

That made me curious. What does everyone else carry?

I'm a fan of this design:

Phone case wallet. 4 cards and my wallet are all I need. I rarely have them apart, so why bother anymore.

Biggest problem is I lost Qi charging, but I no longer have to sit on my wallet.

    Sorry for big photo.

I gave up a wallet years ago after a guy I worked with said having his in his back pocket for 30 years led to his hip replacement. I’m sure genetics had something to do with it too but I started using a card sleeve and upgraded to an rfid blocking one when I found out they were available.

My boyfriend and I both have Ridge Wallets. He wears basketball shorts pretty much everywhere and so he wanted something light/compact, and I wear cargo pants or carpenter jeans for work most days (a Ridge Wallet fits in the thigh pocket nicely). Pretty solid overall, mine's held up well.

Only a badass, hand-made leather wallet made by @GHOST SHIP

He also made my notepad holder that I've found stupidly useful especially when I'm gathering measurements, or drawing something up quickly that I need to make.

Matches my leather boots perfectly as it wears nicely just the same -

I stopped putting anything in my rear pockets 20 years ago. Moved my wallet to my front to ward against pickpockets on an overseas trip, noticed that riding the airplane no longer came with hip pain.

I'd love to go smaller. Work makes me carry two credit cards on top of my personal ones. :annoyed: I guess it beats the expense/reimbursement method. Plus I like keeping 20-60 in small bills depending on who I'm tipping it where I'm parking that night.

One of these days I'll try a sleeve.

I have something like this. We’ll…had. I love the idea of it. But my issue was I would take my cards in and out to pay and they would get all Scratched up from rubbing on each other. But the idea is great.

PopSocket makes a card wallet that let's you use your Qi charging. You just use it with a regular phone case.

I changed to one of these about 20 years ago, partly for that reason. I'm on my 3rd right now. They are a little pricey, but they are thin and flexible. When I sit, the wallet conforms to my butt. I currently have 23 bills of various denominations along with 17 credit cards, licenses, and various ID cards. It is just over 1/2" thick with all of it. That is less than most conventional wallets empty. About 3/4 oz in weight.

The nylon tends to last me 7-8 years. I have a couple of spares when this one finally wears out.
