Just bought them. Brand new take offs, still have the rubber nubs and the blue crap on the lettering.

    :thumbsup:Nice!

I wouldn't mind having a set for my nonexistent Super Duty.

I have a good rotation going. I run a set for about 20,000 miles, buy a new set, then swap them out. I can generally sell the old set for within a couple hundred bucks of the new set. I never have to deal with tire shops, and I always have relatively new tires so it works out well.

I remember the Weymouth thing from the 90s. I lived at Replay Arcade and Playoffs back then, plus dated a girl near there so I would always wait to fill up at Rooney's on 18 since they were much cheaper than anyone else there or in Hingham.

My son lived in NJ for about five years and hated that law "I have a MBA, but I'm not smart enough to pump my own gas and need a high school drop out to do it for me. Did he have to go to a special school for gas pump technician?

A few years ago I stopped in Port Jervis for gas. I completely forgot about that law and pumped my own. The attendant walked over, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. To my surprise the NJSP SWAT Team didn't chase me down and arrest me.

    Dumb law.

The funny thing was a that time NJ had much lower gas prices than MA.

Hey now…. I mean Albany isn’t great but the surrounding area is nice! I’m sort of bias because I grew up just north of there (and am actually there now)

I've been up in that area once and it was nice. Saratoga Springs I think it was. For a wedding at the place where they do the horse auctions.

You've clearly never had a propane tank filled.

Propane is a completely different animal, not sure I grasp where you’re headed with that one.

    Lol, yeah.
There's an incredibly high skill level required to fill a propane tank.

It's just slightly higher than the skill level required to haul a propane tank home and set the escaping gas on fire.

Several. Big difference between putting liquid in a non pressurized tank and putting a gas into a sealed tank under pressure. That's why they fill those small tanks in a blast proof cabinet and don't require that when I fill up the Taco a BJ's.

Are pressure cut offs significantly less reliable than level cut offs?

If putting gas into a sealed "tank" under pressure is significantly more dangerous than putting liquid into a tank, the we should make sure people are licensed to fill up their tires.

I've never had the 15 year old at tractor supply actually close the doors on the "blast cabinet" when they are filling up my propane tank. 75% of the time they don't even put it in there.
