I could own 3 more bare tool Ryobi mowers for the cost of getting started with the EGO... and then its a new battery platform too. :crapstorm::lalala::notsure::pout:

    Research continues. :bananadead:

I didn't do research if that helps.

All my powered tools are Milwaukee.

Saw the price of the red Mower, and that was enough to go Ego. That and I've heard and read (without searching) great things about the brand.

Makita has a 36v 21" that I know is good for $100-200 less than the EGO. I just ran the mower using the Ryobi 18V ONE+ 4Ah High-Performance I have from when I bought my Ryobi ONE+ HP SDS+ drill, and the mower worked great in the thick tall grass, I only had 2 bars on it when I started but it worked just fine until I exhausted the battery; the other two regular Lithium+ 4Ah batteries I had fully charged only lasted 1 minute in the tall thick grass, before overheating and cutting out. I didn't read anywhere in the manual that said you have to use the High Performance series batteries but the mower does work A LOT better with these. I can currently get 2x 6Ah High Performance for $149.00 decisions decisions. :frusty::frusty::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

I thought I did when I bought a Toro high wheel, self propelled with a guaranteed start engine, a few years back...:deadhorse::facepalm:

Replacement for the Toro is about $600 I thought I might be able to cheap out... since I only have ~700Sqft of mowing to do with this little push mower. I guess its back to the drawing board or have a discussion with Ryobi about it?:jerkoff:

Can confirm. Used it to tack outside miters on crown moulding (holding while glue set).

Have owned mine for over a year and a half or so?

I only use the 110 outlet for LED lights when we're out camping -

As for the USB outlet? I use it almost every day, or at least every other day.

Shopping palm/orbital sanders to take the paint off one of my guitars and eventually start painting some of the wifes furniture: is there anything the Milwaukee does that justifies it being as much more money than something like a bosch?

When you realize that Nearly $5,000 in Milwaukee tools only covers two items in the inventory
