I have a milwaukee orbital; I'd say its exactly the same as all the others in function. My unprofessional opinion convinced myself that I'd rather go Milwaukee over other brands on the sander because I think battery life is night and day, but I don't have two orbitals to actually compare and prove that thought. If I had to do it over, I'd probably just opt for something corded, unless I caught the milwaukee battery powered in a bundle sale (which I did).

I was thinking about getting this because I want more 3.0 batteries. And I could always use another sander, I don’t have a cordless one yet

Probably going corded honestly, I wouldn't need it anywhere I couldn't plug it in anyway. Been keeping an eye out for bundles but nothing lately, so I'm probably just gonna get the Bosch corded for like 60 bucks and see how it does

Just used mine today, that price looks fair but if you search on Amazon/ebay you can find the blower, battery, charger separately cheaper. I got just the blower for $120, and a HO XC 6.0 battery for $75. If youve got a lot of area to blow I would plan on buying a second large capacity battery.

So far the 8.0Ah is too big for the slot. Need to try an xc5.0

As much as I really like Milwaukee tools I mainly own their cordless auto mechanic tools and while I like my m18 circular saw I find my old corded Skil Saw to be better for carpentry work, I generally go with DeWalt or Bosch for nice woodworking tools. I have no experience with cordless sanders of any brand, I own this sander and really like it, only issue is the sander hook pad will wear out after two or three years but you can buy new ones on Amazon.

I need a good plug in 1/4 shank die grinder.

Makita makes a dead sexy one but it's $350+ same with Metabo.

Took me 9 minutes to mow this section without having to swap batteries because they were getting too hot. This is a good real world test. Taking off an 1.5” I’m probably cutting it a little bit lower than healthy just to test its limits. The Milwaukee xc5.0 is 6 years old right now but only used 25% and it was between warm and hot to the touch when I was done.

Yup, $329 is the normal price for that package, walk into any HD any day & it'll be that price.

Here's a promo right now for the same package for $235, no idea what shipping costs.
    https://clarkstool.com/collections/...hd-m18-fuel™-blower-kit-w-battery-and-charger

I got mine from HD when they were selling just the tool for $99. It's decent but if your trying to blow wet leaves or have a big yard and don't already have M18 batteries, there are others that perform better. I don't use mine for yard work, just for clearing out chips in the garage, blowing excess water off after a car wash, & the occasional clearing out debris from the side of the house.

I just saw they have a 2 battery blower coming out in September I think. I’ll be interested to see if that’s 2 smaller batteries or they expect you to lug around to 8 or 9’s

It seems to be optimized for HO (21700s) batteries so for the kit I bet it'll come with two 6.0 HOs at the smallest. The 6.0 HO slightly outperforms the 8.0 HO anyways (current draw). They've been showing them in pictures with the 6.0s also. 9.0 is no longer made & were 18650s. 8.0 replaced the 9.0 & performs better also. What I thought was funny is my 9.0 & 8.0 weigh exactly the same, down to the oz.

I'm wondering how it'll do if you stick 2 size batteries in it, like a 5.0 & a 3.0, just to get buy if you had to. But I'm sure when the smaller battery dies the blower will stop working (needs 2 batteries to run).

Looks nice, I like the nozzles, & more power but it's too big for me. I'm fine with what I have for my uses.
