Anyone else get color envy?

Envious? Of what??? People who drive Camrys and Sienna minivans are envious of me!!!

 

No need for envy here! I have the best color....MGM.

 

I’ve super white I love the fact that I just clean the windows and tires and it looks clean lol.

 

I was really hoping for a Cement or Green truck when I was looking for mine. Pandemic/chip shortage supply chain was garbage and my local dealership was selling Tacoma's off their invoice list before they even arrived. Nothing on the schedule for deliveries were the colors I was hoping for. The Super White I thought would look great with all the chrome blacked out, and I do like it. But yeah... I'd rather have myself the Green for sure. Maybe next time....

 

I was hesitant for the super white since it’s a long bed SR5 it looked like a company truck but with blacked out emblems , tint and 265 75 16 tires gave it a whole new look. I like it now.

 

Wanted for my 2022 trd OR premium

1) Lunar rock
2) Army green
3) super white

looks like the allocation im getting is going to be a black. Been waiting since April so I think I’m going to just get it and live with some envy. I think if I get some pro wheels it’ll still look good. They told me it could be months before they get a lunar premium.

 

My two choices were 1a - Army Green and 1b - Quicksand. When I bought my 2021, Quicksand was discontinued so that made the choice easy for me. Whenever I get that color envy, I just take it on a dirt road and paint it Quicksand.

I sometimes wish I coulda chose my color instead of mgm. Not my first choice. Considering my friend has same one haha.

 

I think women use my truck as a reason to flirt with me - SILVER - its kinda of annoying......I'm not a piece of meat

 

Why would I be envious? No other Taco color inspired a two-part episode of SCTV...

I'm getting an MGM truck, but I would love if it was Blue Crush instead. Grey/black is just so cliche.

 

Last week I was in Smart and Final and I heard behind me in the check out isle "hey that's the Bluetaco guy." LOL. Anyways...It's kinda fun.

 

Nope. Purchased pre-covid and was able to walk onto a lot with probably 100 Tacomas and found the exact truck I was looking for.

Cement was first color choice but I got into the game just as inventory was going to hell so I found the model
I wanted and snagged it in super white - it's ok not gonna rag on it at all. Happy as a clam to have it.

 

This is my 4th Tacoma besides my 1 gen all have been 3rd gen the first 2 were autos u could not give me one of them gear hunting machines my wife can choose a shirt after the truck could choose a gear. I love my super white off road 6 Speed gear banger

 

I refuse to live in Pleasantville. But to each his own.
