Does anyone know if there is a weight difference between the A340 and R150 transmissions?

Good news since you'll be removing the auto and replacing it with a manual?

Much easier to bench press the lighter trans into place...

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Why ? It never seemed that much different carrying them around in the shop .

With the torque converter out they seem real close.

Because sometimes I'm morbidly curious about things.

Went camping for three days with no one else beside my extremely dumb dog. On the drive back I was thinking about the 5MT swap into my double cab and this thought popped into my head.

I mean, trust me... with only this doofus to talk to for 72 hours, there were far more random and idiotic thoughts that popped into my head.

So the smart Dog talked his pet Human into taking him camping?

In my youth I spent more time talking to the Dogs and Horses.

lol, he's the sweetest boy. All he cares about is being touched by his HOOMAN!

He gets super excited whenever I'm talking to him about going somewhere.... then 3 hours into the drive he's all vacant-eyed and confused.

He likes camping because he can pee on more things but other than that I'm sure he'd love to be home chillin. He's been on probably 5 backpacking and 5 truck camping trips. Poor bastard has no insulation so he was always shivering at night even in his jacket and my 4-season hyper insulated tiny tent.

So I broke down before this last trip and bought him his own Walmart special sleeping bag. Homeboy stayed toasty all night.

I sure could not explain the difference between the two transmissions .

I never learned how to drive an automatic or have any real under standing of how they work.
