Warren has been in business for a mighty long time. SuperTech, Amazon Basics, Kirkland, Meijer, Harvest King and several others are clones sold as private lable brands. Excellent products.

And if you're a NAPA guy or gal......you're actually buying rebranded Valvoline.

Oh yes they are. Over the last 10 years of owning my rig, I've definitely been an oil snob. Started with AMSOIL, then Pennzoil Platinum, onto Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, tried Kirkland once (for less than 1K miles due to Fumoto valve issues) and now most recently SuperTech. I plan to stick with the ST from here on out because my truck is loving it and so is my wallet. I can't wait to take a sample in the next few oil changes to send off to Blackstone for analysis.

If anyone has any stats on the Fram XG3600 filter, please post them up! I'd love to read about it to see if I can be convinced to give it a shot. I will admit, I have never ran a Fram product merely due to the long lived bad reputation. But I'm willing to hear anyone's case about it.

When I raced WERA supersport bikes in the 90's,most guys ran a Fram spin on because they were way cheaper than OEM. I believe they had sold out to Allied Signal during that time. Then there were reports of filters blowing off bikes, particularly CBR600's. Sure enough,it happened to me right after an oil change. WERA and other associations banned them from competition use. Never used one again on anything.

The XG (Ultra) has been one of the favs, if not the fav, on the BITOG (Bob is the Oil Guy) site for a few years now. Lots of info and pics on that site by doing a search for the XG3600 + BITOG. I have been buying cases of them. I also like the OEM D3 filter but the XG is larger and holds more oil.

Found this little gem at the parts store the other day, real showing of the quality control at Fram.

No stats but this is the exact filter I've been running for the last three or four years. I've always run Fram but switched to the 3600 (larger) back then. It's been fine.

I keep it around for the 'haters that say to use nothing but OEM filters. I'm like, see OEM! :D
