    Need some female advice….

Have a wedding Oct. 1st. It’s outdoor and country themed. Colors are cinnamon and champagne. Found this dress, would need to get cowboy boots. Thoughts…. Go with it or keep looking? I hate shopping:frusty:

Do you know how our Interstate System of Highways is organized? Below are some facts aboot it.

An interstate Highway is a highway the runs through 2 or more states.

There are 48,756 miles on the Interstate Highway System

There are no at-grade intersections or traffic lights on the Interstate Highway System

Interstate numbers divisible by 5 are intended to be major arteries among primary routes carrying traffic long distances. Ex. 5, 10, 80, 95, etc.

3 Highways run coast to coast; I-10, I-80 and I-90

    7 Highways run border to border; I-5, I-15, I-35, I-55, I-65, I-75 and I-95.

    How Major Interstates are named.
    1. Major Interstates running North-South should have 1 or 2 digit ODD numbers. Ex. 5, 15, 25, 35 etc. Numbers start on the WEST coast and increase toward the EAST coast. Ex. I-5 runs from the border at San Diego, California to the border at Blaine, Washington. I-95 runs from Miami, Florida to the border crossing at Houlton, Maine.

    2. Major Interstates running East to West should have 1 or 2 digit EVEN numbers. Ex. 10, 20, 30, 40 etc. Numbers start in the SOUTH and increase toward the NORTH. Ex. I-10 runs from Jacksonville, Florida to Santa Monica, California. I-90 runs from Boston, Massachusetts to Seattle, Washington.

These rules only apply to 1 or 2 digit, major interstates.

A 3 digit interstate indicates that it’s an interstate that splits off from the main interstate. This is usually in urban areas.

The last 2 digits will be the parent Highway number. Ex. I-285 splits off of I-85.

If the first digit is EVEN, the offshoot returns to that main interstate. If the first digit is ODD, it does NOT return to the main interstate. Ex. I-285 loops back to I-85. I-385 does NOT return to I-85.

There are some exceptions to these rules but they are few and far between.

The States typically use one of two methods of numbering the Interstate interchanges:
    1. The Consecutive numbering system: Starting at the most westerly or southerly point on each Interstate route, interchanges are numbered consecutively. Thus, the first interchange becomes Interchange #1. Each succeeding interchange is numbered consecutively as #2, 3, 4, etc.

    2. The Milepost numbering system: All Interstate routes are mileposted beginning at the most westerly or southerly point. The beginning point is milepost "0". If the first interchange on the route is located between milepost 4.0 and 5.0, it is numbered as Interchange #4. The next interchange, if located at milepost 8.7, would be numbered as Interchange #8, etc. With this system, the motorist can easily determine the location and distance to the desired interchange.

The tournament should be fun, he's covering entry fees, all I have to do is show up, catch fish, and make him wonder why he ever started tournament fishing. ;)

I wouldn't ruin a good arrow on them nasty creatues! Or a bat!
    Male advice;
Skip wedding, wait 2 weeks, call and say 'congrats'.
