How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

7/5 build out of Guanajuato > Veracruz > arrived at Newark 2 days ago.

 

I found out about the Tech Package when dealer sent me Spec sheet with permanent Vin. Noticed -$800 price difference & tech package missing from spec sheet. Tech Package was allocated on spec sheet with temp Vin.

 

And here I thought I was waiting long, I put my first deposit down in nov22, still no allocation as of today

 

I'd say you're very lucky I've been waiting for the same since March with only an empty bag of hope to hold onto. This is what sucks about Toyota's allocation system.

 

Put down my deposit to reserve the truck on 5/30
I believe the truck was built on 6/14
And I took delivery of it on 7/22

Overall not that bad of a wait. Also perfect timing because my Corolla was totaled exactly a week before I took delivery.

 

Still the same, I am not seeing anything else.

 

Rail departed on 07/21, in route to Portland.

 

No movement still.

 

This one is scheduled to be build on 08/08

Just out of curiosity - the dealership it’s going to is about 200 miles south of Portland (closer to the port) so the rail would pass the town the dealership is in…would it make a stop near that town and put it on a truck for delivery or would it be unloaded at Portland and then on a truck all the way back down to the dealership?

 

Most likely straight to Portland, they get them all out at once and ship them by truck to the dealerships.

 

I have a week 28 build and still waiting on perm VIN. I’m still showing specs on temp VIN.

 

Im wondering why the hold up on building the 7/5's and 7/6's. Is it possible they r waiting on certain parts for those vehicles like the bed boxes or bronze wheels? Something to that effect. I just dont see them not building them unless it has to do with a part availability issue. Hope to hear update tomorrow for green trail i have deposit on. I got so many deposits out its tuff to keep track

 

Mine is at 3 miles and just barely any gas it is red and 37 in all 4 tires.

 

It looks like the v-spec site is back up, though now you need a hash value in the url. It looks something like this:

If you have your hash key (the stuff after "?k=" ) then you can do the Inspect -> Network procedure to see your v-spec, including at ETA and the status (Allocated, Freight, or Ground). Problem is, I think only the dealers have the hash keys.

@Rod03 Do you have access to the guest.dealer links for vehicles? If so could you check what it is for my vin:

Every two weeks it's something new! QC Holds, recalls, etc.

Now we'll be asking for hash keys

 

I believe I have a 7/5 build in Baja. When I put in my permanent Vin into the Toyota app it did not show any recalls. I put it in the NHTSA website as well and it came back with no recalls. Is this accurate or would this only be updated once a vehicle is sold?

 

I am waiting for my 7/5 build from BAJA as well, i am thinking now that it isnt a recall issue as much as it is a hold on production due to either parts availability to build certain specs, or holding up production to square away machinery that made faulty welds for child safety locks. It makes sense that if they were finding bad welds on child safety locks, they would halt production to fix the machine making faulty welds. This is my speculation and i have no inside info. Im just trying to make sense of why a vehicle scheduled to be built on 7/5 has not been built yet

 

P.s. i dont even have a permanent vin....so if u do...u are doing well i would say
