Nah. It connects to the tss power by the rear view mirror. Once you turn on the truck the cam turns on.

Nope, sorry. I just connected it directly to the wire; pretty simple seated connection.

 

I didnt receive any additional wires when I got mine.

 

I just spoke to customer service via chat and they are going to send me another cable. If that does not work, then the whole unit.

 

The power harness if you want it to record while parked and not use the TSS for power is a $40 optional part.

 

Mine's rock solid, even in the heat. Just caught some stupid driver shit last week (cell phone - almost took out someone merging behind me).

I'm getting power off of the Dongar connector just fine, even with the Homelink mirror.

there was a shooting on the highway over nothing last month. 8 shots to the windshield and guy luckily avoided each round. Amazing how he didn’t get hit. But these cameras can save your life if you decide to pull the trigger on someone.

 

I'd prefer to not have the confrontation at all. Adding more guns to the equation seems to make stupid people stupider.

I briefly considered adding a "SMILE FOR THE CAMERA" sticker that straddled my rear camera...but I prefer they not know it's there until I can drop a "you know all of that was on camera, right?"

Well. Ordered and install the FITCAMX front only system. Install went smoothly no issues about 15 min. App works nicely.

I ordered right from them. It was only sale there for $168 with additional 5% off free shipping no sales tax. $159.10. It was shipped from china but it only took 5 days.

Amazon they are 189.00 plus tax.

Yes but you will wait since the one on their website ship directly from China. Also the front only system can't add the rear cam if you wanted to later on.

 

I have the Fitcamx both front and rear. Used the clip from a tape measure to clip the rear camera to the headliner in the back. On hot days the little sticky pad would loosen causing the camera to shift so I super glued the rear camera in place to the tape measure clip. Stays put now.

Yes. But it was only 5 days since I place the order. Not bad.
All I wanted was front cam.
So this fits my needs

 

I ordered the front and rear combo, just arrived today. Plan to install over the holiday weekend at some point.
