Good for you - hopefully your own little oasis!

Beautiful country out there. Wife and I looking to buy land in one of those counties in the next few years. City is fine in your 20s but we're getting tired of it

We had similar plan of getting some land and putting tiny house on it. Then wife decided being cooped up with me that close might not be great. :D

We have a trip planned for Hawk Pride if it is not in the 90s, the weekend of the 5th - 7th, if that is not too far for you.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Ouch. That's a pain in the bank account I don't wish on anyone. Look over the work real well afterwards even if it's a reputable company.

My house has 2 systems so we got by when one went out and it took 2.5 weeks to get the new one due to supply chain bs. A year later now, I'm still not convinced they installed it as well as it should have been. They removed part of my hard metal duct and put flex duct to make install easier but they kinked it and didnt properly support the remaining hard ducts. Made them fix that. Also had to call them back out multiple times to seal gaps where it was leaking cooled air into my attic on the machine. Recently found that the return box has a gap allowing it to draw attic air in at a spot that bypasses the filter. Spot that I can't reach to tape it of course.

It was old and in the back of my mind I knew it was going to take a shit, but sucks it did it on a Friday at like 6pm during the hottest it's been all year. The good part is we have a full guest bedroom in our basement so we can at least sleep in some 70* temps.

I hate dealing with contractors so I'm not looking forward to this at all.

That’s hot. Do you want to do a day trip to Stoney or Chocco if it falls through?
