Probably not the problem but check the plug for the compressor behind the alternator. I accidentally knocked that plug loose the last time I changed a 2nd gen alternator.

What should I be looking for? Burnt connectors or something? Or just replace the clutch relay for piece of mind?

Its possible. I dropped a 10mm socket and spent alot of time fishing for it yesterday near the alternator. Where is the plug to look for?

Have you seen this? I'm thinking on ordering one, shipping is somewhat pricey as it comes from Australia.

I would swap out the relay. And the same relay from Honda cost half the price https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Hond...t=&hvlocphy=9011091&hvtargid=pla-571072874796. Vs https://www.amazon.com/Toyota-90987-02028-Genuine-Relay/dp/B00FZS42YC

Just ask Honda or Toyota for an Ac clutch relay. They sell them every day. Oem part number supersede regularly. At our shop we order ours from Honda because they are always about half price cheaper. But it's the same relay. A lot of the time it's made by Denso.

My AC never works after a battery/ECU reset until about 20-30minutes of driving.

I think it has something to do with the computer making sure everything is working correctly before allowing load on the engine, I confirmed this by observing the AC clutch, it won't engage after a reset until the vehicle has been through a ECU drive cycle check.

Apparently somebody wanted my gas more than I do...... broke through my locking gas cap and left me with this. Honestly I'm leaving it. It still Un twists. No other damage that I can find. And oh boy did I look my truck over after I found this.....

Seems like it was either a green or brown plug on the rear driver side of the compressor at the rear edge of the alternator heat shield. Another thing to try is swapping the a/c relay for another (same amp) accessory relay in your fuse/relay panel. That way you know if the relay works or not. I have done that in a few cars as a test before spending money for a relay. I am not familiar with the ecu reset not allowing a/c to run properly. I guess that is also a possibility.

I have had my spikers in my garage for months. I am getting ready to install them and I think it's time to buy a pneumatic rivet gun. My hands still hurt from using a cheap rivet gun on my 3rd gen redline struts back in 2017. My arthritis is 5 years older so that manual rivet gun will be "gifted" to my son.

I looked at this, and under fitment for Toyota Hilux 2015-2017. At $379AU + freight, it is quite dear, but worth a look at how the product parts fit together to install. The topper is quite high to think about hoisting a canoe up to a rack mounted on top... Nice implementation for support of a rooftop rack on a topper, though.

Yesterday, I got the intermittent wiper switch installed. My not so much a Base model is coming along nicely.

Today was a test fit of a mattress I got from Amazon and added a switch and outlets for charging phone, watch, etc.

Finally replaced my lower control arm on the driver side. The passenger side was done some time ago.

Replaced the DS CV. Couldn't get it to pop out using paracord as a make shift slide hammer so I went to home depot and picked up some steal cable. Still took like 10 good pulls to pop out.

Also sanded and painted my UCAs and cab mount plates.

A screwdriver and a hammer would knock that lock cylinder out fairly easily...
