    I have these.

Wow! The prices of these things have gone through the roof! I think I got mine for about $200. I wanted the two piece because at the time I had a Camaro and it was pretty low to the ground. I could remove part of the ramp and get to the underside of the car behind the front wheels. I don’t think these are needed for a Tacoma though. The ones you linked look like they would work just fine. I actually like how the have a dip for the tires.

Good idea, I’ll look around and see if I can score used ones in time. I have so many tolls in the truck that installation would not be a problem.

Sensor on order and already received non-OEM bumper cap. If I did it, I probably would have taken your approach. My daughter was pretty upset and was adamant that she wanted to make it right.
Parts were easy to find - just wish she wasn’t back in CO so we could wrench together.

These are the tails that came with the truck. I bought the truck used in ’20 and it had a few mods. I was worried about if these were stock or not and a Google image search came back with conflicting pics (some with chrome, some without). Knew they weren’t Pro’s and took a shot at ordering the 2018 stock OEM replacement - a winner.

Got the harness 95% done. I didn’t remember to order more 2 pin Deutsch connectors to hook up the 360° lighting for the rack. But I’ve terminated the wiring and just need to get those connectors. Then it’s a matter of figuring out the best method to attach the wiring to the rack cleanly; really don’t want to zip tie it.

    E12417E1-CD7B-41F0-8852-E1182AE5BDFD.jpg 9D5AFD25-DBF2-4E97-B7A4-D9CF01FF03FE.jpg 3B655E09-87D5-4945-B13D-1B5AF309304B.jpg A8DCDFCB-24D2-4AA0-BD82-E6B570D92912.jpg

I measured out points on the garage floor to help lay out the harness. Installed a 6pin female Deutsch which will interface with the wire harness from my Spod running up the windshield. This way, in the off chance I need to remove the rack, I can just disconnect at that point. From there, there is a 2 pin male Deutsch that connects to the DD 42” combo lightbar. Next is 4 points for the side lighting, this is we’re the 2 pin male Deutsch will be installed. Finally I have a 4 pin Deutsch which will reach the rear most driver side of the roof rack and to which I can connect additional lighting once I get a bed rack. Two of those pins will be the same connection as the side lighting and 2 will be for chase lights. This will make it a truly 360° lighting solution. Note, I didn’t install the rear lights included with the CaliRaised rack as I don’t have a need for lighting shining onto my bed.

My fat ass did the same thing. Laid it on my stomach and squeezed under with no ramps in my garage. Used my knees to hold some of the weight while I hand tightened all the bolts on. It's heavier than it looks lol

The center pin won't hit anything, the bump stop will hit the strike pad well before ever coming in contact with the pin.

Make sure you trim the U bolts otherwise theyll contact the bumpstop (Ask me how I know lol)...I ended up welding a 1/4" pad on top of the strike plate to move the bumpstop up a little to prevent this issue further

Looks good! I have the Cali Raised Premium with light kit on order (early August arrival). Any lessons learned/advice for the install? Initial thoughts on the setup? Thanks!

I got this idea from someone else on the forum, you still use cable ties but the setup is clean.

I had to replaced couple of crimped ground loop/hooks that came with the kit. They weren’t crimped tight enough. Other than that it’s a very useful mod. I will be adding a BlueSea fuse block in the future.
