Oof, like the first time it's at full droop and those stock lines are all that's holding your axle.

Or you decide to let 'er drop out a little quick and they're no longer attached at all.

Haven't seen it but could tell by the strain on mine it's a real thing.

Really, don't wait. If those lines snapped it would be a bad day even if you were already at a mechanic. On a trail...so screwed

Even +2" rear lines with hammer hangers, rear Tundra shocks, etc they get a little tight.

I ordered the yota mafia rear 24” lines. Are the fronts even worth doing?

Not usually. My stock lines were fine (even mid travel, full droop, full lock), but then I went to Powerbrake BBK. They came with stainless lines. Mine seem to be fine at the same settings, full droop and full lock, with mid travel Fox shocks. My buddy with Kings (also mid travel) needed longer lines than what Powerbrake sent. His were TIGHT at full droop and full lock.

So basically, if you are going to upgrade front lines, get them +2 just to be safe.

Yeah we definitely were not expecting his lines to end up like that. Thankfully we were able to get a set thrown together for him in short order.

Is this the kit (or similar) that you’re running?

Do your guys's leafs squeak? Ive got 5-6k on mine and Ive got a loud squeak except I cant tell if its my bedrack or my leafs. Seems like both squeak when I shake the truck. Any squeak mitigation tips would be greatly appreciated.

I want an answer to this too. Mine have been squeaking on and off (mostly on) for the majority of their life. Beyond me pulling them off and regressing the bearings, they squeak.

Yes! I think most leafs squeak. There are inserts (or similar) that you can place in between the leafs, or use a spray lube. I personally don't care, it's a truck, and if you start swapping in suspension, skids, bushings, LCA's etc., shit will squeak, creak, clunk.

Head on down to Walmart and pick up a bicycle inner-tube. Cut it into small strips (a few inches long). Lift the truck and then use a prybar to separate the leafs. USE PLIERS to put a small strip of the bicycle tire rubber where you can see that the leafs are making contact. I ran it that way for years on my Tacoma with squeaky leafs, and it was silent for 5 years up until the day I sold it.

Pick your brand but Silicone Spray from the auto parts store works great. I keep a can on hand (specifically the PB blaster spray silicone) and every time I wash my truck I pressure wash the leafs out to get any extra mud/dirt out between the leafs then I spray it down with silicone spray along each leaf in the pack. if you have a curb or a vehicle ramp go up on one side so the leafs extend on one side and it makes spraying easier. then reverse and do the other side. I havent had a major squeak in a while and when I do I just spray it down and it goes right away.

I just received my rxt pack today via fedex. Are these supposed to come in a box? Mine just had the ends wrapped in plastic with no extra shims, or pin, just the extra brackets for opt 3.

Mine came that way too. Then a separate box with the added leaf for option 3 came a day or 2 later
