I got a steal on this trailer. 8500 dollars for a 2014 Palomino Palomini that had been used 3-4 times and sat. Wish I could afford a toy hauler lol

Is that a bakflip MX4? Which backrack is that? Genuinely got me interested. Seems like a great solution for me.

Did a similar thing last October: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ontario-bs-thread.249665/page-2244#post-26412084

Though the bearing was OK in my case; the spacer sheared off. Shoot some PTFE dry lube into the uniball after each wheeling trip to extend bearing life.

my Backrack is by a sister company, Undercover Ultra flip. Works the same way as the BAKflip MX4 however it has a differnt stop system. IIRC both are basically the same product, just branded differently and mine has some other fancy stuff like carpet underside (it's great for patches).

Backrack is Backrack brand backrack, Born and made in Oakville, Ontario, by the Backrack brand backrack company! The one i specifically have is the "Safety" rack (Actually bought it off Kijiji for like $120 so i'm fairly certain there are only 2-3 sizes, just the mounting hardware is different. and IMO get the Half-safety rack instead, since then you can slide 2x4s into the cab.

which leads me to this next point.
My Backrack was never design to work with my tonneau cover.
It was sheer stupidity, ballsy engineering, Guidance from @tacoma16, and a lot of money to figure it out, but thanks to the L-Track/ Bed side rails i made, It somehow works...

The L-track thread linked above has the full build if you're interested. it's a cheaper alternative than getting Yakima system in the same spot, but Yakima doesn't rattle around.

    EDIT: Just found this; https://www.backrack.com/Wide-Top-Rail-Tonneau-Cover-Adaptor/2018/toyota/tacoma

Is there a way to let Google know one of their suggest routes is dangerous?

We went up to Algoma for a week, and one of the places we wanted to visit was Aubrey falls due to group of 7, so in the morning as I was mapping the route, it shows this:

It looks harmless and seem to be gravel road, I knew we would not have any signal as soon as we leave town, but little did we know what that road would turn out to be.

Going up 108/639 was simply beautiful, it looked like BC/Alberta, then as we turned onto the road the map suggest, things were ok, it looked like this for the first 30 or so km.

we saw sign pointing to "logging camp" and "hwy 129" which was where we needed to go, I thought oh ok, we are on the right track,

it got narrower as we go, but we still saw bridge sign said "max 38t" so figure logging trucks go through here, this was the last "nice" part

then it quickly went down hill, not literately, but the road became very narrow, a 4runner barely fits, and we started to lose satellite signals due to the mountains that are blocking them, the closest comparison would be scotch line but with smaller rocky hills, BUT as we near half way point, the road was under 10ft of water for at least 500m, turning around was a risky task since there was drop off on each side into more water, overall, it was not a relaxing drive as I thought it would be and we couldn't make it to Aubrey falls after a 4hrs detour, now we can laugh about it, but it was some chocolate star-fish puckering moments, I can definitely see someone get stuck or seriously hurt with that route suggestion, not to mention nearest town was about 100km away.

but I must say it was insanely beautiful up there, the amount of trails/crownland available was hard to grasp, we would drive hours on road like this without seeing anyone , (just watch out for animals) and access to millions of beautiful lakes all by yourselves without a single soul coming by.
