    don’t think I haven’t considered it.

My biggest issue is they only seem to make air lockers for it and I don’t like air lockers. Then I’d look at a dana60 or a dynatrack prorock 60 for the elocker instead of air locker…but it’s 5.38 instead of 5.29…which is probably fine…ish.

fwiw I’ll weigh in on the rear suspension options:
it’s a roller coaster. I think SUA is the best option until you get into some serious frame work. SUA let’s you use more of the actual spring through travel before you invert the leaf, and an inverted shackle is a better option than a hanger/shackle like the tacos ship with. Realistically the JDF kit will cycle 17” before you decide to notch the frame which is more than anyone is likely to need. Links are sexy and I’m definitely seriously considering them, but unless you can do the fab work yourself, the work you’ll need to get more travel than a SUA kit is going to be significant.

12” c/os will pull about 20” on a dcsb with trailing arms, but you really should consider supporting the shock mounts with an actual cage because the tension forces are gonna be spicy.

also 3 vs 4 link — if you’re gonna go through the work of doing a full system, 4 link it with a fuel cell. You won’t have any lateral movement with a 4 link geometry. Panhard bars are dumb….but here I am considering a 3 link anyway because stock tanks are cool, right?

    4 link > 3 link

    panhard geometry is annoying

Just put a fuel cell at the front of the bed. Will move the weight more toward the center and distribute side to side. Prolly be decent amount bigger than stock tank too..

I still have kids-that back seat allowed me to talk my wife into having a truck... They are not worthless, just not as useful (for my offroading plans for the future.)

Actually that's what got me looking at the rear seat delete. I'm putting it in the 5 year plan, few things in front of it.

I don't unfortunately. Have front chrome bumper end caps and yucky stock rear shocks.
