Okay I see, So that is actually an older squadron sport, like 2016ish sometime around that time period. The reason you are having difficulty is because it is our older circuit board that we don't produce anymore. If you are going to use that light with a newer one; the light output is going to be less and most likely pretty noticeable. I would recommend getting that light upgraded before you use it with another newer light.

    @Baja Designs

Hello Brock, I also sent you a PM but was part of an old thread with Bailey so not sure you can see those, so thought i would post it here as well.
In July 2015, I originally purchased the following:

    XL-R Pro, Pair, Driving/Combo LED (53-7803)
XL-R Pro, Pair, High Speed Spot LED (53-7801)

Along with the "XL (Pro & Sport) Wire Harness w/Mode-2 lights max 325 watt" Model# 64-0119“ for each pair of lights.

I have added more lights over time and am at the point where I am adding a Switch Pro SP9100. The harness for the lights are already routed so I do no want to remove them. I have cut the relays and fuse off the harness along with the 2 white connectors off of the 64-0119 harness and wanted to know if you can tell me what each color of the wires represent that are in the harness. I will not be using the dimmer part of the harness or lights.

    Yellow Wire -
    White Wire -
    Green Wire -
    Black Wire -
    Black wire (smaller gauge) -

The white wire and one of the black wires appear to be the same gauge and are thicker than the other 3 wires.
The yellow, green, and the other black wire all seem to be the same gauge but smaller gauge than the white and black

    I have attached some pictures.

hopefully you can shed some light on the wires.

    Thanks in advance
    Brian

@Baja Designs, hey Brock, I was wondering if you had a chance to look at my replies to the wiring questions?
    Thanks

I'm gonna throw this out here to the peanut gallery and/or maybe if a BD rep is lurking...

So I have a set of Amber LP4's that are just gathering dust, to make a long story short I got them last year with the intent of mounting them behind the grille of my T4R, but it didn't work out due to the mount.

Had a brain wave to see what they look like on ditch light mounts (since TSS on the bumper makes everything up front a pain) and from just laying them on the A pillars I'm kinda digging it, but also not 100% sold on the idea:

My question is, how can I keep those "inboard" side fire peripheral lights from lighting up me, my hood, and generally being a pain in the ass?

Paint? Vinyl? An actual 3d printed or metal shroud? Is there any kind of way to internally deactivate them that doesn't involve voiding the living shit out of my warranty?

Since the lens itself is replaceable, I wouldn’t be too concerned about any permanent modifications to that. You could throw some electrical tape over it to test the concept and if it works, then move onto something like paint or epoxy a piece of painted aluminum to the lens. Something that’ll withstand the heat.

@Nitori yes you can do that, we have in the works, a blinder that will be released soon. I do not have a precise date on the release yet. But in the mean time as long as what you use is okay with the heat from the light you wont have any issues.

Awesome, thanks man! Still trying to decide whether or not to go for that or hide some S2's in the upper grille or something...

I personally would keep the Lps and run those. That is going to put out more light than the S2. As long as you are okay with the A-pillar mounting location than I would run those for sure.
If you want a more subtle OEM look than the S2 is a better option.
    Best,
    Brock

@Baja Designs love Baja lights I have them everywhere. S2 for side camp lights and chase lights I have the ditch lights and the fog lights and the under the hood light! Saving for the rock lights and a light bar… 114D5DD7-B441-456E-AD56-C1A04B9CB30B.jpg

    @Baja Designs
    Hello.
Regarding Squadron-R Pro w/ Toyota Fog Pocket Light Mount Kit.
Is the stock 2022 4Runner wiring and stock fog light switch sufficient to power Pros via the Pocket Mount Kit?

Baja Designs responded directly to this inquiry on their website:
"Yes the wiring and factory relay is sufficient ..."

Link to YouTube video of Squadron Pros Wide Cornering mounted in 2022 4Runner fog light sockets using Pocket Mount Kit. Stock LED headlights. This is just a demo that shows the wide pattern. Squadron Pro Lights are strictly off-road.

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues sourcing Baja Designs rock lights this year. I order 4 ambers from 4 Wheel Parts (Canada) in early March 2022 and I am still waiting on 3 lights almost 6 months later. I talked with a shop in my area and they can't get any either - saying it's something about some component that goes into those specific lights that is holding up everything. I emailed BD several weeks ago to see if I'm getting the run around from 4WP and sort the truth out from rumour mill stuff. I didn't get an email back yet. I find it bizarre that a product that small and simple can be backordered for >6months. Does anyone have good intel?

I just bought some brackets for my roof rack to mount Baja rock lights on and I can’t find amber rock lights anywhere. Everyone has them listed in stock but no one actually has them.

Hey Kronk21, The only "hidden" light bar kit we offer is the 30in S8 Bumper kit (SKU:447803) and its not so hidden. I fount some mounts that SDHQ makes that allows you to run two of our 30 inch light bars behind the grill for a "hidden" option. Ill put the links to these products below for you to check out.

@Baja Designs do you have an knowledge about installing a 30” Onx6 behind the lower grille on the 3rd gen.

I know your lower grille mount kit is for the s8 30” and you need to cut the grille portion. I don’t want that as I want to not do any cutting of the grille and don’t care of the Onx6 is slightly bigger than the opening.

The only mounts I’ve found are the diode dynamics and caliraised but neither have any info about installing an Onx6 with those mounts.
