    IFS vs SA

The LC has been out; water crossing caused me to have to change out my diff fluids and that's when I found out about the front hubs needing a rebuild :bananadead:

Take the 2nd Gen out yet?

We took it up the mountain to check out the deer and elk on the place, just two track cruising.

I wanna steal The locking axle off my dads off-road but he won’t let me…. Even told him I’d trade to sport hood

I got some goodies showing up for it this week though.

And maybe some for the 1st Gen if they get shipped soon

Turn 21 or find a company to contract through. We had to search pretty hard to find someone to insure an 18 year old that started here

Speaking of Land Cruisers, my neighbor said the motor got put back together but it was still knocking even with new rings, bearings, and oil pump.

    Crank was machined.

So the block is getting sent out to a machine shop.

Not sure I told the back story but his mechanic fucked up an oil change and so when he left with his LC, it leaked out all its oil. Mechanic took the LC back and agreed to completely rebuild it since he screwed up.

If I do a year as a school bus driver I figure that number should cut in half as long as nobody gets hurt

    But fuck that

I thought yours was a TRD model?

    It's a Sport? Must've missed that part.

I want to take the LC out soon, especially with all the invites I keep getting but I haven't had the time for those specific trips.

It’s a sport yea, there’s an offroad axle in CO for 800, but I think I’d rather just regear and get front and back in the future

Passed my exam this morning. That was more stressful than any college exam because my job was on the line. I would’ve had one more chance to take it with a $400 fee. No thanks.

Younger drivers are probably seen in an even worse liability now after that terrible wreck in Colorado. Didn’t some kid skip a few runaway truck ramps and kill a bunch of people?

Is that the story where the driver got sentenced to over a 100 years in prison for the wreck, but a bunch of people are petitioning for him to be freed because his truck belonged to the company and its brakes weren't maintained or something like that?

seem to remember that story from a year ago or so, thought it sounded pretty crazy. Especially the sentence he got for what was an accident after all.
