i worry more about breakdowns than mpg

    fuel planning is relatively easy

knowing what you will break is often a guessing game, and plenty of people here carry suspension parts, axles and driveshafts so idk take that for what it is about my beloved tacoma that has plenty of weak points and never lets me down

It could also take me 32 hours to do that same drive if I fill up a coffee mug with gas and pour it into my tank one coffee cup at a time.

Do you see how ridiculous your analogy looks?

I am correcting myself. It weights over 7200 pounds. It's insane that that much mass can hit 60 as quick as it does. Torque.....instant and massive torque.

I test drove one too. It’s heavy but you can also tell that most of that weight is very low in the chassis. Handling is worlds better than a Tacoma.

I think this is something underrated about EV: the body roll is really, really low in spite of how high the chassis is. You feel this in the EV SUV but in the trucks it is a whole different world of handling.

An extra couple of thousand pounds perfectly aligned at the lowest point of the chassis running perfectly down the middle will do that.

Dealer tags still on: might be being sold by that way. Veeeery common with some new dealers doing MSRP markups via semi-useful additions (usually wheel/tire). Still marked up, but at least you're getting something.

Rivian would be awesome. If I had 120K just laying around.

Or I could buy a Tacoma… or maybe a Bronco Raptor? Or both?

…especially if you get your Rivian on the second-buy market.

    My 2 cents.

No, but I don't need to be to point out that although it has a Pro grille, it doesn't have a Pro badge. ;)
