I got one of these for my daughter's sixth birthday party. I set it up, looked at it and it scared the shit out of me. I hovered over those kids as if I was a mother hen. I was so glad when that party was over that I wadded it up and pitched it. Never to be seen again. That thing was a fifteen stitcher if used inattentively. I was usually a 'rub dirt on it and walk it off' kind of father but that thing worried me.

I had the Kodak Instamatic that came before that, it was four times as fat, and had flash cubes that revolved. The film was four times the area and so took much better pictures.

It was such an iconic device at the time, that in art class in the seventh grade I made a 36” long replica of the Instamatic Fash Cube camera, out of cardboard.

It was all silver and black with a red button, so fairly easy to paint, but I used a piece of real glass to make the lens and the fake “flash cube” had plastic wrap to make it shiny.

I hope this isn't too politically incorrect but white people shouldn't try to dance. We're terrible at it.

    This is a weird one.

When was the last time you ran over a small animal? Years for me. I distinctly remember making the run from my hometown to college over a weekend, and in one trip I nailed a jackrabbit, armadillo, big honkin snake, and a bird that came in so fast that I couldn't ID it before it ricocheted off the windshield. None of it was on purpose. I was not happy reinacting the death biker character from Raising Arizona. :(

That same year I was on a road trip along I70, and somehow rolled over a prairie dog convention. It was worse than that joe cartoon website.

Its now a rare day when I even see a dillo carcass. Roads used to be paved in them.

Bugs too. Can't remember the last time I had to spend an hour scrubbing the grille with bug-out.

I mean, I'm glad I'm not operating a murder machine anymore, but it does make one wonder.

    ... Guess I got them all. :(:(:(

One time a million years ago I was on a date with some gal, I swerved to miss a possum (not sure why I swerved for a possum), anyhow....I backed up just to make sure I had missed it....while I was backing up there was a 'thump' 'thump'.

I wanted one of these for Christmas in about 4th or 5th. All it did was vibrate and the players just kinda moved randomly around on the board.

I was pretty sure I had a strategy to win though. :)
